multi – faceted personality of Mr. Anand Shekhar Singh, Chairman of Babu Sunder
Singh Institute of Technology and Management
After Completing his initial education in a small school of GIC Bahraich, He moved to
Russia to pursue his engineering degree, being a Mechanical Engineer by profession
and very good one at that, completed B.Tech and M.Tech from Moscow “State
University of Mining” and MBA from “Russian Academy of Economics”.finally settled in
Moscow after having established many manufacturing units and factories related to
pharmaceuticals. After gaining work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals, Mr.
Anand Shekhar Singh has made his foray in the field of Education.
Inspired by his father, who was a firm believer that a good education is essential for
attaining success, Mr. Anand Shekhar committed to
provide a legacy to the youth, with a vision of Bringing world class technical education
in Uttar Pradesh, he laid the foundation of Babu Sunder Singh institute of Technology
and Management. The Institute aim to provide quality education as per international
standards without making any compromises in terms of faculty, labs, infrastructures or
facilities.
Mr. Anand Shekhar Singh has also founded Babu Sunder Singh foundation, this
foundation helps the poor and needy by organizing various camps.
Various Social Projects are running through Babu Sunder Singh Foundation like he is
working in the area of religious activity by establishing Ram Janki Temple in Bahraich
and organizing bhandara at regular intervals.
Under his guidance weekly health camps are being organized at different places.
Apart from being the Chairman of Technical College in Lucknow, he is also the founder
Chairman of Babu Sunder Singh Mahavidalya.
As a part of his commitment for uplifting socially and economically weaker strata of
society and to protect the threatened and uphold rights of children like Right to
Education, nutrition,health, shelter and protection, an initiative “Padhenge Padhayenge
Shiksha Abhiyan” was taken in 2018 by Mr. Singh, free education is provided to the
children of near-by villages. Not only he motivates the children to attend classes but he
celebrates every festivals and happiness with them. Sweaters and blankets in winters,
slippers in the summer etc, are distributed to them from time-to-time. The objective is to
nurture children by imparting quality education, inculcating values and providing
vocational training for skill development and personality enhancement.
At regular intervals he organizes blood Donation Camp in association with Department
of Transfusion Medicine, KGMU Lucknow and free eye Checkup Camp in association
with Indira Gandhi Eye Hospital & Research Centre.
Under the guidance of Mr. Singh,Students of BSSITM started various campaign
Programs for spreading Awareness in the nearby villages of Nigohan like “NOT ONLY
CLEAN, GO GREEN” , “Say No to plastics”, “Beti Bachao , Beti Bachao”, “ Save Water,
Save Earth” are the name of few.
He is also handling the job of Senior Vice President of “Hindustani Samaj Russia” that
helps to inculcate the feeling of Indian Culture by organizing various national and
cultural festivals.
He is actively involved in doing social service and generous in donating in the service of
mankind. He is keen in rural development and thus in the process he established his
institutions and doing all the social activities in the rural areas only.
