2. What is Personal Care Program - PCP??
"Personal Care Program" is a project of Ankur Pratishthan
where the hobbies of children are transformed into skills.
In this project a Professional Coach is assigned to
children as per their required skill set. Here, the children
are exposed to a full time Institutional and Professional
Training & Coaching. This helps the child in professional-
ising and refining his skill sets which further helps him to
enter the main stream.
"Ankur Pratishthan...A NGO with a clear vision of total upliftment of orphan children by creating all kind of protec-
tive affiliation from society....while few elements of society are engaged in fulfilling basic needs of these children,
we on other side are trying to make them capable to satisfy their needs on their own and earn respect in outside
world. Our aim is to make the Ankur as *one stop solution for destitute kids* and we can achieve this only with
all the way support from generous people of the society.

Janeev Project…a step to create awareness among children and people of society about some facts
from the world. This project is is inclined towards developing a win-win attitude among these children.
In continuation to Matrubhumi Parichay Shibir held in the year 2017, this year we invited a few girls and
their teachers from the Kelye Village of Ratnagiri District to Mumbai. We had an opportunity to host 21
girls from Godbole School, our host of last year’s camp, who visited Mumbai as an educational trip.

Matrubhumi Parichay Shibir is one of the activi-
ties that we would like to share about. While our
parents strive hard to expose us to the real world
by taking us to different places, we organized 3
days residential camp for around 30 girls from
Maze Maher to Boranda village in Palghar District.
During this camp, the girls met farmers, interact-
ed with their families, cooked and lunched with
them. From trekking to cooking and from herding
cattle to swimming in the river, the girls probably
enjoyed the most precious moments of their life.
Besides recreation, our focus was to slowly build
in values, discipline, importance of teamwork and
some ethics in these children which very rarely
happens in shelter homes they stay.

5. Respected Sir / Madam,
We begin with thanking you from the bottom of our hearts towards your regular support, which has
enabled us to be the catalyst shaping the life of a destitute child. At ‘Ankur Pratishthan’ we strive for the
all round development of destitute children up-scaling them on skill development, psychological &
moral support, inculcating best ethical habits & values through series of programs. We have also being
kindly supported by experts in their respective fields, who have consistently and professionally assisted
us in our journey in the last decade. This has only helped us to further pass on this relief to around 500
destitute children across shelters in Mumbai and around.
It’s only because of such professional and monetary support extended till now, that Ankur Pratishthan
has been successful in their flagship projects like “Janeev” (Awareness) and “Aadhar” (Extended Residen-
tial & Career Support)” in last year. Wholehearted monetary support from philanthropists have proven
to be the actual life line of such big budget but highly imperative projects, turning out to be life saver &
career spinner for a destitute child. We would require continuous support from more such philanthro-
pists to fulfill our endeavor of making a logical change to the life of a destitute.
Appreciating the earlier contribution of Rs. 1200/- which has already been a hit with our donors, we have
to maximize our reach in terms of expanding our donor base with the donation amount as we have
been approached by a number of destitute home, who are in need of Professional Assistance.
You would end up helping us assisting in multiple ways by not only donating but also by referring us to
your near & dear one. Going through our activities (via the enclosed Newsletter & by visiting our website
www.ankutpratishthan.org) will only help you take a step towards such charity, shaping up life of a
destitute child.
Your’s Sincerely,
Pranav Bhonde
