 Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba directly instructed to start a children’s home in Bangalore which
He Himself named as “Sai Krushna Mandir”
 To take underprivileged boy children in the age group 0-10 and help them become self sufficient
by the age of 21
 Good education to be provided and the children should become responsible world citizens
 Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba also assured that He would provide all resources
 The seed funding of Rs. 1000/- was directly given by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba
 Sai Krushna Charitable Trust was registered in Sep, 2010 with Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as
the Chief Patron.

 Based on Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s command,
the following selection criteria will be adopted in
identifying suitable inmates
for the children’s home:
 Children who have lost both parents and have no
caretakers
 Children with single parent having financial difficulties
 Children having both parents but the family having
financial difficulties
