Setting
Halo-Wars is set in the fiction world of Halo which is set in the future with futuristic
vehicles and buildings, when aliens attack the soldiers trying to open a sealed door.
The setting sound used is sci-fi styled music with
the noise of futuristic guns and vehicles. With the
main character having a very commanding voice.
Mood
There is a very tense mood as there is a lot of fighting involved in this scene but at
1:40 the mood changes to sad as it looks like the good guy is about to die. The music
used is very futuristic and sci-fi with a lot of choir styled singing.
The music is studio based and choir styled sound
singing the main theme to halo that is associated
with the halo series
Game genre
The game genre is real time strategy game but implements a story line and cut
scenes into it.
the scene is very dramatic and fits into make the
game more tense.
Narrative
The narrative includes dialog at the start with the soldiers talking about opining the
door then fighting kick starts and the music starts. Mid-way through there is dialog
between the alien and the main character. They talk about killing each other.
The voices are very commanding and the alien
voices are modified using different sound effects
