Setting

The setting of this game sounds like it is based in a chaotic city that highly depends
on its manufacturing industry and other corrupt business.

Mood

The game feels quite quiet and dark at the beginning of the sequence, but then as
the scene continues it gives a little audio of an uprising rebellion against certain
forces with relaxing music in the background, this gives the listener a good feeling as
it gives hope of overcoming the dark times in the city. Yet again towards of the
audio sequence, dark music is again played and a dark mood is cast upon the scene.

Clearly state what production technique(s) you think have
been used to create specific soundtrack elements

I think one of the main sound production
techniques used to create this piece of audio in
the cut sequence is using sound proof rooms in a
controlled environment to record the orchestra
music, and I also think they used a sound proof
room to help record the voice over in the scene.
Edited audio. Sound recording equipment.
I think that a key technique used in this scene is
highly edited musical audio, as there are good and
dark audio types in the sequence, they both have
an exaggerated feel to them, and the good
hopeful music is light and subtle, whereas the
dark music is deep and more bass heavy.

Game genre

Action, Adventure, RPG, It is easy to tell the genres of the game straight away by
listening to the audio alone, it gives the feel of action and adventure strongly with
all the sound effects put together, I also thought that it described an RPG role in the
game as the voice over sounds like it describes the need for a hero almost, and you
are the hero playing through the game.

The narrative on this piece of audio talks the listener through the scene and the
struggles the city of Albion have to live through; it gives a good description of the
world and its issues.
