2. AS course media
• At the start of the AS course I was really looking forward to
learning about the genre theory and learning to develop my
skills required to make a music magazine. At the beginning of
the year I didn’t know how to use programmes such as
Photoshop, Prezi or slide share but as the year went on I was
able to develop my skills and apply that to my work to then
produce my magazine, which was a success. Also, with using
Prezi and slide share it enabled me to put up my progress
throughout the year, instead of it just being blocked text
which made my blog a lot more interesting for my audience.
Some days were more difficult than others, especially with the
MacBook's not working but I managed to finish my magazine
and complete all the deadlines set by the teachers.
3. A2 course expectations
• I expect the A2 course to be more exciting especially with our
coursework, but we will need to apply theories more into our
work more and develop our movie/music video making skills.
It will be especially more difficult but I will stick to the
deadlines to get all the coursework and work done in time, I
think that the coursework will require a lot of research before
hand and to look at other people’s work to get a rough idea
about what the course entails.
