for its audience using direct media techniques to attract
them including posters, billboards, TV etc. to create a buzz
surrounding the product which will attract a lot of
customers to come and see the product.

Walt Disney is one of the 6 major distribution company’s it’s a major
distribution company as it distributes major big blockbuster films which
they know would make a lot of profit for them.
Walt Disney have distribute more than four films which have crossed
over the $1 billion dollar mark in worldwide gross these films including:
• Marvel the avengers which earned a gross of $1,511,757,910 in 2012.
• Iron Man 3 earned a gross of $1,210,035,000 in 2013
• Pirates of the Caribbean : dead mans chest grossed $1,066,179,725 in
2006.
• Toy Story 3 grossed $1,063,171,911 in 2010.

company as it is not owned by anyone or owns any production company
and range of cinemas.

5. Interest?
For our opening sequence we have created a teen
comical drama about a shy quiet introvert geek girl, who
is bullied at college by two bullies, however finds the
courage and tenacity to stand up to her bullies through
the inspiration of her comic book. We have produced a
teen comical drama which involves the theme of
bullying , I think that 20th Century Fox will be interested
in our film as it relates to their previous film the diary of
a wimpy which follows up the same theme which is
about bullying are film is quite similar to diary of wimpy
kid however, our film is aimed at teenagers another
reason why they will be interested in our theme is that
we are promoting that bullying is wrong and also
encouraging teenagers who are victims to being bullied
to inspire them to find the courage stand up for
themselves. The final reason they will be interested is
that bullying can relate to other age groups which
means this movie would attract a variety of audiences.

6. Audience Appeal
My film is has a wider appeal as the theme is bullying I think this
theme is a theme which people can relate to not just in college
however at work but I think it is a theme which some people go
through every day life bullying is a subject that everyone is familiar
with and a subject which man people can relate as bullying can
happen anywhere and anytime. which is why I think it will have a
wider appeal.

7. Marketing Strategies & Exhibition
Options
For our film it maybe that we might have to self distribute our
product ourselves. The benefits of self distribution is that we can
retain full rights and control over our film which means that if
the film is successful we will be receiving all the money and
would not have to give a cut of the money to a major company
like 20th century which means more profit for us.
Another strategy is that we could take our film to a film festival
which then major companies could have a look at and if they
have an interest in it they can buy the rights of our film which
means that the film is not owned by us anymore however, the
company could gross a lot of money from the film by their
marketing strategies you would only get a small amount of
money compare to what they will gross.
