1. Film Distribution
The production company is responsible for the physical production
of the film. They have the responsibility for the films funding or
organizing some sort of payment maybe from a partner company.
Our opening; The Lodger created by Elamtowill productions. In
order to release our film to the public a link between the production
company and the distribution company would need to be made in
order to release the film to the public.

2. I chose to use Cinereach as it is a non-profit, short-film distribution
company based in the united states. It would be perfect as my production
is a short film and on a low budget. Cinereach has supported 100s of
productions and been nominated for four Academy Awards in 2013.
Another way I would distribute would be via a film festival like the BFI
London film festival. Festivals are usually only for large feature films as
there is a large public audience at the events. Large distribution
companies would be like MGM which is a large budget production. They
have multiple links to cinema groups.
Other modern ways to distribute films would be via the internet on sites
like Netflix or itunes.

3. Our film will appeal to a global audience because the relationships are
relatable to teenagers any nationality. Horror films appeal to anyone who
enjoys being scared which are film does.
Our release strategy is to release the film set for the date of the finished
production. The film will be presented in cinemas, on DVD and to
purchase online in the form of a digital download. The distributor
negotiates will have to bee shown in cinemas. To be able to successfully
sell and make a profit on our film a campaign will have to be made
aiming at the correct audience and that makes people want to go and see
it .
