possibly have derelict houses, woods, graveyard, death,
gore and the majority of the time its link to someone
being murdered or a mystery.
5. THRILLERS
In thrillers they usually leave you with a full of question marks(not
straight forward). In thrillers they can be an abduction, killer,
stalker, it has a lot more suspense, it makes you jump and make you
feel thrilled leaves you at the edge of your seat and finally there is
usually a twist included. its mainly based around 'CRIME' . Thrillers
are usually set in an urban environment, thrillers are associated
with puzzle, mystery and enigmas.
6. EDITING (TERMINOLOGY)
Continuity - cutting shots tells a story with narrative continuity.

Special effects - further manipulates the mise en scene = visual information you get

simultaneously often used to build tension.
Montage Editing - giving information in a compressed way.
Short shot duration - conveys > action & urgency.
Long shot duration -conveys > intensity & intimacy within the narrative.
