Creativity:
- Working in a group has influenced our creative decisions in comparison
to working independently eg: more people to add their ideas; the type
of documentary that is going to be created (eg: serious/humorous)-who
we are going to interview (voxpops and people who would be
appropriatefor the expert interviews)
- Analysing other documentaries- studentand professional- inspiration for
our own piece (eg: editing and typical codes and conventions of a
documentary)
- Creative decisions eg: title sequence at the beginning with the pieces of
paper revealing each letter a time to spell out “video games.”
Representation:

- Focusing on ethnicity and gender
- Ethnicity: - rock magazine- stereotypically aimed at white people-
reinforced on my frontcover,doublepage spread and contents page
- Social groups (stereotypical)- representing them in a particular way eg:
use of accessories, depressed facialexpressions etc.
- Gender- most rock magazines targeted at males.I tried to challenge this
and usemore females to representthe genre.
