Incoming and Outgoing Shipments in 1 STEP Using Odoo 17
Resources and equipment
1. Resources and Equipment
Fortunately we are able to source all of our equipment and resources through our school. However the cameras
that we are using belong to one of our group members.
2. DOCUMENTARY
HARDWARE:
Cannon 70D: we have access too two of these cameras, therefore we can use multi-cam during the interviews. We
will be taking two tripods to use with the cameras.
Lapel microphone: this mic is great to use during interviews as it is small and often unseen but also produces clear
audio. The lapel mic is plugged into a H4N , we will also be taking another H4N to the interviews as a back-up.
Patterson lights: these are the lights we will be using in our documentary, we will use soft boxes and a reflector with
them. The reflector will be used down in London as we cannot take soft boxes due to their size.
SOFTWARE:
To edit our documentary we will be using the apple software final cut pro.
Final cut pro tools:
• Blade: this gives us accurate cuts when editing and cutting down our video footage.
• Colour board: this gives us the opportunity to correct the colour on our footage.
• Fades (both in sound and on the shots): the fade being used on our sound allows us to create smooth
transitions between our dialogue and soundtrack which will create a better flow within our documentary.
3. POSTER
HARDWARE:
We will be using a cannon 70D with a tripod to take the photo for our poster. The camera is easy to use and
will help us to get the best image possible.
o SOFTWARE:
o To create our poster we will be using the adobe software Photoshop.
Photoshop:
Drawing and type tool (horizontal type, vertical type) which allows you to create straight and curved lines with greater
precision.
Navigation tool (zoom) , this will allows us to edit the fine details of our poster making it a clear and precise as possible.
Editing:
Blending option (stroke colour, overlay, drop shadow, inner shadow/ outer shadow) , this allows us to change the way
that layers interact with each other.
Lighting:
• We will use the Patterson lights for our poster shoot; most likely we will only use one of them to act as a
spotlight coming through the curtain. The light will be extended to its full height in order for it to be the correct
position for a spotlight effect. Behind the curtain we will be using a reflector to create some light on the back of
Caitlin; however she will mainly be in silhouette. The light we will be reflecting onto her is the light coming
through the curtain from the Patterson.
4. RADIO
o HARDWARE
o To Record the Audio for our advert we will use the recording studio , this is to ensure
we get the best sound for the advert.
o SOFTWARE
o To edit our radio advert we will be using the apple software garage band, as members of our group have
had pervious experience with the software.
On garage band we could use Podcast Mode, this could be a good mode for us to edit our radio advert on
as it allows you to edit both audio and music, both of which are being used in our radio advert.
Or we could start from scratch with an empty project; this allows us to change the project settings to suit our
needs.
Tools we will use:
Ducking – focuses on the sound in the fore-ground rather than the background. This will be useful when
editing the clips taken from the interviews into the radio advert as they may have some background noise.
Track editor – This allows us to edit the sound waves and therefore gives us more control over the length of
our tracks and the transition between segments.
