3. Introduction
• Hybrid power can provide significant fuel savings, increased
functionality, quieter operation and improved performance.
The resulting fuel economy alone can cut carbon dioxide
(CO2) up to 70 percent.
• Improvements in fuel economy offer the single most
compelling justification for hybrid power systems.
• Even without accounting for the rising cost of fuel year over
year, this base reduction in fuel consumption results in
tangible returns on the initial investment of a hybrid power
system.

11. Conclusion
• Hybrid Electric Vehicles(HEV) give the better
performance than the conventional, less emissions,
longer range.
• HEV make the IC engine operate at maximum
efficiency point by regulating the output power of
battery to satisfy the required power of vehicle.
• Give the better option for regenerative braking.
