1. Automatic Teller Machine (ATM)
(Non- programmable)
Definition:
A machine that automatically provides cash and performs other banking services on
insertion of a special card by the account holder.
In this particular ATM only cash transaction can be performed by non-programmable
ICs.
Block Diagram:
NOTE:
1) This prototype of ATM is limited to a single digit calculation.
2) Its pin code doesn’t depend upon order.
3) This ATM is limited to only cash transaction, not other functions.

2. Circuit Diagram:
Components:
1) 4-Bit Latch ICs (4043)
2) 4-Bit Magnitude Comparator (4585)
3) 10 Lint To 4-Line Encoders (74147)
4) 4-Bit Full Adder (74283)
5) XOR Gates (7486).
6) Inverters (7404).
7) Decimal Code displays (DCDs)
8) Switches.
9) Relays.
10) LEDs.
11) 100 ohm resistors.
12) Source (12 V) & Ground.

3. Process:
1) The process of this design start after the ATM card is enter (Press D).
2) A red LED indicates that it is locked with a four (4) digit PIN Code.
3) Entering the PIN Code (1234) doesn’t required order.
4) After entering correct code, a green LED is turned ON.
5) For entering the account data detail (Press A).
6) The saved data in bank account is shown in DCD.
7) For cash transaction enter the digit.
8) If the wrong amount is entered (Press C) to reset it.
9) For final turn (Press B) to save the new data in account.
10) Then (Press space) to reset to the start position.
11) Again (Press D) to turn off the circuit mean to remove the card.
