The issue of popular support is further connected to terrorist group's specific objectives, or goals. In

womb. One way of keeping clients physically safe is after having blood taken, or injections given, to
use sterile needles, and then only use them once and dispose of them straight away. This is so the

How do we show we support a topic nowadays? Through social media right? Millions of users on
Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and Instagram all are outlets for supporting causes. But is this a good or
bad thing? Clicking like or share so people see you support it does something, right? Wrong. These
people are "slacktivists". Slacktivism is defined simply as doing something to show you support a

The Bean Trees
Families come in many forms, and family may not be considered "traditional" can still have a deep–
seated relationship, much of the time more so than "traditional" families. Barbara Kingsolver's novel
The Bean Trees makes non–traditional families very prevalent, showing their supportive and
functional nature. A traditional family is a family that has a mother, father, and children, whereas a
non–traditional family varies from that set. Barbara shows the reader that non–traditional families
can function and support the members of the family just as well, if not better than traditional
families. Alice and Taylor have a tight–knit and close relationship, one that is supportive at its
nature. Alice has supported Taylor is so many ways throughout her lifetime. On page 2, we are told
that When Taylor was a young child, she would catch small fish, and Alice would act like it was
huge, and cook them up for dinner. This is a great example of how they support each other. Without

Popular culture is often a reflection of society; both literature and the media have the capacity to
cement ideas in the minds of readers and viewers. In many cases, the notions and stories glorified by
the media refrain from sharing a true depiction of society and are narrow–minded in their focus.
Recently, the feminist movement has denounced popular culture for its ignorance, fighting for a
more realistic portrait to be painted by those with the power to reach millions. Specifically, both
Roxane Gay's Bad Feminist and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's "The Danger of a Single Story" share
how the classic gender stereotypes seen in popular culture are unable to capture the full spectrum of
stories that define society, and are limiting in their portrayals of women. Moreover, both authors
share personal stories, reference prominent world figures, and cite relevant statistics in their works.
Therefore, in both Bad Feminist and "The Danger of a Single Story", Roxane Gay and Chimamanda
Ngozi Adichie appeal to readers pathos, logos, and ethos in order to construct the argument that the

PED Users Like Maria Sharapova claims that punishment for taking PED is incremental, while the
benefits are exponential. After carefully reading the article, I think the article would be great to be
printed in the Shorthorn of the University of Arlington. First of all, Zach made a clear and strong
claim. He also builds his credibility by using one of the most famous cases that happened on the
famous athletics to make the article, and he addresses an issue that lots of the college student will be

My Reflective Web Media Creation
My Reflective Web Media Creation (RWMC) project was nearly exactly as I envisioned it in the
pitch with only a few changes. In the pitch I discussed how the lead character (Matt Murdoch)
would be explain to the Jury why 'Fair Dealing' is not stealing and he would be the 'Punishers'
lawyer. However, I changed it in the final video making him the plaintiff, a company lawyer saying
the defendant ('Punisher') stole their content and he is not protected by 'Fair Dealing'. I changed it to
this as I believed it would make the video more narratively engaging, making the 'Punishers'
outburst more provoked and meaningful. I also removed the self–referential element where the
'Punisher' was going to comment on how the video was flipped and colour graded so it would not
come up on 'YouTube' copyright detection system. I changed this element as I believed it would
make my RWMC more focused and comedic in a serious way. The elements I changed after I
presented my RWMC piece were both things the markers and classmates commented on. They said
some of the subtitles in the first half went by too fast, so they struggled to read everything being said
before the subtitle changed. To remedy this I changed the subtitles from the first half of the video to
make it more concise and easier to read, removing words and rewording/rephrasing the subtitles. I

To achieve the above aims, a literature search was done to check to see if there is any innovation
similar to this. My findings shows that there were some spoons that were designed like the one the
service user was using, but there was none that had a link strap at the base of the spoon that the
service users could use. I came up with the idea of linking the strap to the base of the spoon in a way
that the service users could use the spoon, and at the same time drop the spoon when he wants to
without the spoon falling on the floor.
The advantage of this is that the service user could take back the spoon without any support because
the spoon is still within reach; therefore, the service user could continue eating with any
interruption. This promotes the service user's independence, inclusion and dignity. This was
reinforced by the (DH, 2009) three year strategy Valuing People Now. In addition, the strap is
available in different colours; therefore, the service user has the opportunity of choosing their

1. Aisha's husband does not want her to receive any narcotics. How do you respond? If Aisha is alert
and cognitive, I will speak to her first to find out her position on taking narcotics to relieve her pain.

In comparing the sixties and the nineties, my first thought was how much popular culture has
changed since then and how different society is today. The strange thing is, the more I tried to
differentiate between them, the more similarities I found. Both the sixties and the nineties were
about youth, creativity, free–thinking, and expression. With the nineties coming to a close and the

As fashion in the 60?s influenced fashion in the 90?s, the spirit of music in the 60?s is present in the
music of the 90?s. Many of the artists popular in the sixties are still major forces in music today.
There is no one genre of music that can define either decade. After the appearance of the Beatles and
the British invasion in the early sixties, music changed and everything before it was all but swept
away. There was surf music from the Beach Boys; folk music from Bob Dylan; R&B influenced
music from Motown and the Rolling Stones; and psychedelic music from Jefferson Airplane and the
Doors. In the nineties, many new types of music evolved. These include rap music and hip–hop
which came from urban dissatisfaction and unrest, while underground alternative rock became
mainstream. In 1969, the Woodstock music festival embodied the spirit of peace and love. It was
repeated in 1994 and 1999, but unfortunately, the festival in 1999 ended in violence, marring the
essence of the original Woodstock.
Racial tensions, civil rights disturbances, and deeply divided opinions over the American presence
in the Vietnam war, all served to give the sixties a radical edge. People were passionate about what
they believed in and were willing to give their lives, if necessary, to the cause. Young people became
