Abstract
The inability to read is a problem that plagues public schools. Many students enter the
third grade reading on a lexile level lower than what is required to be successful.
Some students will be one or two grade levels below the current grade. The students
simply cannot keep up with the demands of the current grade because of the lack of
ability to read. There is a great need to reach students who struggle with reading. The
purpose of this study is to determine if phonics will help third grade students to
improve their reading ability. The study will include seven students in a third grade
intervention room. The students will be taught phonics for a six week period. At
the beginning of the study the students will be given the San Diego Quick
Assessment of Reading Ability as a pretest to determine the reading level. At the end
of the six week period the students will be given the same test as a posttest to
determine progress. Progress will be shown if the students have moved up in reading
levels.

Language is the most complex form of communication. Throughout time, language

I feel like the players that played World of Warcraft during the Hakkar outbreak
responded like any other civilians would in a real life viral outbreak. One way the
players did this was they tried to help each other. They would send players into the

Macario is a 1960 Mexican film. This film was based on the novel of the same
name by B. Traven. This movie was directed by Roberto Gavaldon which was a
very well recognized director in New Spain (modern day Mexico). This ninety

Laurent Clerc was born on December 26, 1785. It is believed that Clerc became
deaf by falling off of his high chair into the kitchen fireplace around age one. He
