 The teaching of listening and reading
helped us to understand further on the
different techniques in developing
listening and reading skills and involved
us to the different listening activities and
reading exercises that actually helped
and developed our communication and
language skills. Learning theories and
concepts of language teaching through
listening and reading activities were
included to increase knowledge and
understanding in language skills and
competencies. In other words, top-down,
bottom-up and metacognitive techniques
for developing effective listening and
 reading skills retrieved from reliable resources
contained specific information on techniques and
strategies in language teaching in response to
English 17 (The Teaching of Listening and Reading)
that will help the students in understanding further
the significance of language in their daily activities
and experiences. It also encouraged and helped the
language teachers to plan lesson objectives which
are appropriate to the students. So, teaching English
language is very significant in understanding and
appreciating listening and reading skills which are
important components of language and
communication skills.

Learning Reflection
 I learned that delivering a public speech should
be clear and precise so that the audience will
understand immediately the message. Also, there
are guidelines to be followed before having a
speech to avoid stage fright in as much as
possible.
Sample Extemporaneous Speaking
 The teaching of speaking helped us to
explore further on the different types
of speeches and engaged and
involved us to the different speaking
activities and exercises that actually
helped and developed our language
skills and abilities. Learning theories
and concepts of language teaching
through reporting and oral recitation
were included to increase knowledge
and understanding in language skills
and competencies.
 Specific information on methods and
strategies in language teaching in
response to English 16 (The Teaching
of Speaking) that will help the
students in understanding further the
significance of language in their daily
activities and experiences. It also
encouraged and helped the language
teachers to plan lesson objectives of
which methods or strategies will be
useful and effective in language
teaching that are appropriate to the
students in language class.
 So, teaching English language is very
significant that language teachers
should consider appropriate
approaches, methods and strategies
in language teaching for the benefit of
all language learners.
 We can also connect to other

others to keep on track and
updated to the latest innovations
and technologies. Learning will be
fun and interactive.

  • 5.  The Teaching Listening and Reading
  • 7.  The teaching of listening and reading helped us to understand further on the different techniques in developing listening and reading skills and involved us to the different listening activities and reading exercises that actually helped and developed our communication and language skills. Learning theories and concepts of language teaching through listening and reading activities were included to increase knowledge and understanding in language skills and competencies. In other words, top-down, bottom-up and metacognitive techniques for developing effective listening and  reading skills retrieved from reliable resources contained specific information on techniques and strategies in language teaching in response to English 17 (The Teaching of Listening and Reading) that will help the students in understanding further the significance of language in their daily activities and experiences. It also encouraged and helped the language teachers to plan lesson objectives which are appropriate to the students. So, teaching English language is very significant in understanding and appreciating listening and reading skills which are important components of language and communication skills.

Also, there are guidelines to be followed before having a speech to avoid stage fright in as much as possible.
  • 11.  The teaching of speaking helped us to explore further on the different types of speeches and engaged and involved us to the different speaking activities and exercises that actually helped and developed our language skills and abilities. Learning theories and concepts of language teaching through reporting and oral recitation were included to increase knowledge and understanding in language skills and competencies.  Specific information on methods and strategies in language teaching in response to English 16 (The Teaching of Speaking) that will help the students in understanding further the significance of language in their daily activities and experiences. It also encouraged and helped the language teachers to plan lesson objectives of which methods or strategies will be useful and effective in language teaching that are appropriate to the students in language class.  So, teaching English language is very significant that language teachers should consider appropriate approaches, methods and strategies in language teaching for the benefit of all language learners.
