The document discusses the layout and design of a magazine spread about Gigi Hadid. The layout uses a bright, summery photo from Google Images and a bold masthead font designed to grab readers' attention. An "exclusive interview" subtitle was added to appeal to the 16-20 year old target audience. The second layout features a photo of model Alexis Ren from Instagram along with a cover line to draw readers' attention to the article about her growing up in Japan.
5. Layout 1
Gigi Hadid tells us
her secret to
always looking
good!

In this layout I used a picture from google
images and I went for the more summer look as
it is very bright clothes with a sunny scenic
outside , I also used a bold masthead to grab the
readers attention. I used a font from dafont.com
to create this and i think that the black with
white background really stands out compared to
if I did a orange/yellow masthead it might fade
into the background.
I decided to add a subtitle of exclusive interview
as I think it would appeal to my target audience
which is 16-20yr olds as in this time celebrities
and famous people are a big topic so if there is
some exclusive information only to this
magazine more people are likely to see that
then look through the magazine then there is a
higher chance of theme actually buying the
magazine.
6. Layout 2
In this layout I used a picture of Alexis Ren from
her Instagram. Alexis Ren is a world known
model so a lot of people know her especially in
the age range from 16-20yr olds as she is very
influential and popular, she is also very well
known this is why I added a cover line to draw
peoples attention to the inside and what the
writing is about especially as not that many
people know she actually grew up in Japan so
its like an exclusive piece of information. I used
the red color to say that as it ties in nicely with
Alexis’ shoes as they are the most bright and
colorful so this will draw the readers attention.
