Case Study Of Police Law
Monday, October 02, 2017 at 14:42, city units were dispatched to assist the Washington State
Department of Corrections (DOC), DOC1 at the Jefferson County Fair Grounds, space #16. Officer
Isett was out with two subjects, a male and female for violations of status. He was requesting city
unit to assist with the male. Officer Perry and myself arrived on scene and found Officer Isett out
with Kellen Grewell and Annie Tracy. Tracy was in custody and in wrist restraints. Grewell was
standing by the motorhome that they both are currently living in. The motor home (WA 611XAR), is
listed as Tracy's address with DOC (where ever it is parked). Officer Isett advised me he had

Officer Isett seized the pan and observed that there were dried mushrooms in a plastic baggy in the
pan along with some smoking pipes. The mushrooms appeared to be Psilocybin type mushrooms
(commonly called magic mushrooms, or shrooms). DOC is authorized to search a residence, which
a supervised subject is living in, and Tracy is a WA DOC supervised subject. Grewell is being
supervised by Jefferson County District Court. I took Grewell into custody on probable cause from
Officer Isett, for possession of controlled substance (Psilocybin). I placed him in wrist restraints and
locked them for safety and for comfort. I searched Grewell incident to arrest and did not find any
contraband or weapons on his person. I read Grewell his Miranda warning and he said he
understood his rights and would talk to me. He admitted to me he had the mushrooms in his
possession and he was trying to hide them when he was discovered by Officer Isett. At the station I
conducted a NARCO 929 test on the mushrooms (lot#15163) and got a positive presumptive test
result of Psilocybin. I booked the mushrooms (weighing 9.2 g in the plastic bag) into evidence, as
evidence, marked NSH–1 in locker E–2, along with NSH–2, a bag full of drug paraphernalia
unrelated to the mushrooms. The drug paraphernalia was marked for destruction.

Defining Success In John Wooden's 'Pyramid Of Success'
John Wooden once said, "success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self–satisfaction in
knowing you made the effort to become the best you are capable of becoming." This quotation is
relevant to the question of how would you define success because success can be defined in many
ways, depending on who you are asking. For you to have a better understanding, I will explain how
success is defined in John Wooden's "Pyramid of Success", next how success was defined in the
movie "Hoosiers", also how Bobby Plump saw success in his Milan team, and lastly how I have had
success in my life time.
In John Wooden's "Pyramid of Success" he gives all the characteristics that he thinks defines
success. There is fifteen different characteristics, there are three of them that in my opinion are very
important in success. The most important trait in my opinion is Competitive Greatness. John defines
it as " Being at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge." I do not
think I would define it that way, I would define it as trying to be the best you can and putting as
much effort it takes to become the greatest at what you are doing. The next trait is Self–Control, he
defines it as practicing Self–Control and keeping emotions under control. Having good judgement
and common sense. I agree with his definition, if you do not agree with a call then do not yell at the
refs, bite your tongue and go back to playing. Do not show negative emotions! If the other team sees
that they can get under your skin than they will just keep doing it. Lastly and in my eyes the most
important is Team Spirit. Team spirit is huge in my opinion, everyone on the team should have the
same goal and that is to become and to play at the greatest of your ability. The only way to achieve
that goal is to have everyone striving to do their best and want the best for the rest of their
teammates. We all know that one guy on the team who could care less if they were there or does not
try hard at practice. Or the one guy who always says, "There is no way we can win this game, they
are too good." So, what I am saying is that if someone has a big night and puts up 20 points then be
excited for them. If a guy hits a walk–off then go

Selecting The Next Chapter
Selecting the Next Chapter Eventually, we all reach the age at the end of our high school career
when we have to choose a path. The path that we select will guide each of us to the trail that we will
follow for the rest of our lives. Some of us will choose to go directly into the workforce, potentially
go to a trade school, or even go onto a post–secondary education in order to obtain a degree. What
decision we make then determines what the rest of our life will hold, how successful we can
possibly be, our yearly salary, and can introduce us to people who will play active roles throughout
our entire life.
Now, I am a senior in high school, and I have quickly found this decision right on my doorstep.
Over the past few years, I have had my eyes on several different post–secondary college options, but
I have narrowed this list quite significantly over the past few months based on factors like their
available majors, the college's size, and the extracurricular activities that are offered by the
institution. With this said, I have selected three colleges that have specifically caught my eye based
on these factors: Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky; Purdue University in West
Lafayette, Indiana; and Saint Mary–of–the–Woods College in St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana.
Majors Of course, when selecting colleges recently, it was necessary to pick those ones that
followed my interest base. Ideally, this would be to obtain a Master's Degree in Science for

Marketing Goal : Indianapolis Sports
Marketing Goal
Indianapolis has become a sports' mecca. Ample options of sport have created an enormous market
for the community and visitors to experience. One downfall of being in Indianapolis is the enormous
amount of sport market competition. Entering into the sports market in Indianapolis can create an
underdog feeling to an already competitive market share. Indy Fuel has to take the necessary steps
in order to gain a competitive advantage from established organizations and not let history repeat
itself. With Indy Fuel being in its third year, they are slowly starting to catch the attention of the
Indianapolis community and work towards creating a passion for hockey in a state that is defined by
basketball. Indy Fuel's marketing goal ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Failing to post a winning record in four seasons, the team soon departed ("The History").
In 1979–1980, the city welcomed the Indianapolis Checkers. The Checkers lasted three more
seasons before relocating to Denver. Indianapolis went without professional hockey for a year
before the Indiana Ice arrived in 1988–89. The Ice brought the return of the Turner Cup to
Indianapolis for the first time since the Chiefs won it back in 1958. The 1998–99 season began to
show signs of struggle for the IHL, prompting a switch to the Central Hockey League. Continuing to
play until 2003–04, the Indiana Ice decided it was time to fold, bringing an end to professional
hockey in Indianapolis ("The History").
A 10–year gap of hockey was not enough to discourage owner Jim Hallett from bringing hockey
back to Indianapolis. The Indy Fuel, an East Coast Hockey League expansion franchise, set its
hockey roots in Indianapolis in 2014. With a mix of positive and negative history of hockey in
Indianapolis, the Indy Fuel has the challenge of not letting history repeat itself and making
Indianapolis a strong hockey market ("The History").

Essay Follow the River
Follow the River Follow The River by James Alexander Thom is about Mary Ingles gruesome but
yet courageous tale of her remarkable 1,000 mile journey home after she had escaped form the
captivity of the Shawnee Indians. Through Mary Ingles hard work and determination she proved
that all obstacles big and small can be overcome.
The book started out with a bloody massacre at Mary Ingles Virginia settlement in 1755. Mary
Ingles was pregnant with her third child and twenty–four years of age when the Shawnee Indians
came and kidnapped her, her two sons, her sister–in–law, and her neighbor. The journey to the
Shawnee village lasted five weeks in the Virginia wilderness, and once the captives arrived at the
village they were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The two courageous women walked through freezing rivers and climbed up small cliffs for forty
days, with hardly nothing to eat since everything was barren because of the winter, overall the two
women walked 1,000 miles. Finally Mary was able to find her husband, but after thirteen years she
was able to ransom for only one of her sons back and her sister–in–law, the other two children were
kept by the Shawnee.
Follow the River had a lot of dialogue leaving the reader with the feeling that they were battling the
Virginia wilderness right along with Mary Ingles. James Alexander Thom used vivid description on
everything that he wrote, he painted the picture for the reader with a myriad of words, and he left no
leaf undescribed in the Virginia wilderness. The only thing that seemed confusing about this book is
that the reader can never figure out where Mary Ingles is , it would help a lot if a map was placed
somewhere in the book showing the trail of Mary and her companion.
James Alexander Thom did seem a little bias in his book. He would call The Shawnee Indians
heathens, he always just looked at the English point of view and never the Indians point of view,
because at this time the reader should be informed that the Indians are being forced to be moved
from place to place by the white man, but I don't believe that the authors intent was to give the
Shawnee Indians a bad name he just wanted to get the point across that some young pioneer

local RadioShack business in Purdue and how would the new business model go after sprint
purchased RadioShack. We found these information and studies for RadioShack are important
because they can help audiences to insight RadioShack and understand why would it goes bankrupt.

George Rogers Clark Fort Sackville Campaign
The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park is located in Vincennes, Indiana, on the banks of
the Wabash River. A memorial stands on the site of Fort Sackville to honor the capture of the fort
from British soldiers by Lieutenant Colonel George Rogers Clark and his men on February 25,
1779, one of the greatest feats of the American Revolutionary War. Clark's army, aided by French
people of the Illinois country, had marched through freezing floodwaters to gain this victory. The
fortes capture assured United States claims to the frontier, an area nearly as large as the original
thirteen states.

Self Critique Of Charles Kebler As Sales Manager Essay
Title: Self–Critique of Charles Kebler as Sales Manager
Salesperson Assignment: Sophia Barrow
Performance Evaluation Self–Critique
Section One – Overall Performance Critique:
1.What did you do well in the meeting?
After going back and reviewing my performance evaluation of Sophia Barrow, I feel like I did a
very good job overall. The first thing I feel like I did well during the meeting was keeping the
conversation balanced. Keeping the conversation balanced and not talking too much was my main
issue going into the meeting. The next thing I feel like I did really well on was asking for her
opinion on her ratings of herself throughout the meeting. To be an effective sales manager you need
to understand the reasons behind the ratings the reps are giving themselves. I am very pleased with
my performance overall and feel excellent about the outcome of the meeting.
2.How effective do you think the meeting was for the salesperson you evaluated, and what cues and
evidence lead you to this conclusion?
I think the meeting was very effective for Sophia Barrow because she always seemed to agree with
my ratings or at least adjust her ratings of herself after our discussion. With that being said I feel like
she was very happy and surprised with the promotion I offered her. I think this was a big clue that
the meeting was very effective overall. Another piece of evidence that I used to evaluate the
effectiveness of the meeting was the fact that she seemed to really be on the same

The Keep Indianapolis Beautiful : A Great Appreciation For...
The " Keep Indianapolis Beautiful" organization is the reason there is a great appreciation for art,
nature and sense of community in Indianapolis. As we know it today, Indianapolis is at its highest
peak in employment and rated as one of the best cities to relocate to in America for better careers
and quality of life. However, back in the 1940's Indianapolis was referred to as a "raw, dirty and
unkept city...", a city people should avoid. Gangs, drugs, loitering and other illegal acts surfaced
many neighborhoods and communities during that time. Considering where Indianapolis is today,
one would never believe this city used to be ins such despair. Thanks to many civic leaders, devoted
women and passionate residents, Indianapolis went from a trashy, neglected city to a place of
beauty, pride and opportunities. Throughout this profile, I will identify how KIB's legacy was
created, its contibution to social capital through "private action for public good", and why KIB is
vital for not only Indianapolis, but the world in its entirety. In 1947, John Gunther, an American
journalist, was responsible for the negative perspective on the city of Indianapolis. In the 1960's and
70's, around the time women demanded to be heard in society, many women of Indianapolis came
together to clean streets and alleys: referring to themselves as the Keep Indiana Beautiful Club.
These women were the start of something life–changing. Bill Hudnut, former mayor of Indianapolis,

The Construction Of The Patoka Reservoir
"In the 1960s, for the folks in and around Ellsworth, [Indiana,] living life decades behind the time
was just the way it was. Manpower over technology. The comfort of tradition over the anxiety of
change," stated Jason Recker, a journalist for The Herald. Patoka Reservoir, an economic center for
recreation and flood control, encompasses 8,800 acres of land. Before its construction, a thriving
community inhabited the fertile terrain along the Patoka River. Towns of this former neighborhood
included Elon, Newton–Stewart, and Ellsworth. (Recker 1) Families lived their everyday lives as
farmers, with an occasional visit from a local peddler. One day, though, a new kind of visit altered
their peaceful ways. A government–sent official arrived ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
One example, Ellsworth Road, still leads all the way up to Patoka Reservoir's edge today. (Kreitzer

James Marvin Ellis, born June 30, 1842, sparked the foundation of Ellsworth. Although Ellis did not
receive a sufficient education as a child, at the age of thirty–two he both cultivated one hundred
sixty acres of farmland and managed a general store. (History 759) Not only did Ellis publicly exert
himself, but his private life prospered as well. Ellis and his wife, Mary A. Beaty, brought forth seven
children to the local population: Marvin U., Hester J., Elliot E., Thomas G., Joseph A., and Lotta A.
(Ellis 1). In addition to agriculture, family, and merchandising, he also served as the town's original
postmaster (History 760). This holds importance because a post office provided a town's first
official identification (Kreitzer 65). Ellis' societal involvement ventured much further than the town
of Ellsworth, though. At the age of nineteen, Ellis enlisted in the Civil War. He served in Company
"A", Forty–Ninth Indiana Volunteers, beginning on September 25, 1861. For two–and–a–half years,
Ellis fought in many battles until harshly wounded at Champion Hill in mid–1863. Although he
would suffer from these wounds for the rest of his life, Ellis readmitted himself to military service in
early 1864. He fought until the conclusion of the war a year later. (History 759) As

Lending a Helping Hand
There have always been organizations that provide help for the needy. Now the economy is going
through a downward spiral giving these institutions a greater importance in helping the lives of
those who need it. Miami County residents have seen firsthand that some people who live in this
area really need the help. The statistical evidence shows that Miami County, Indiana is being
affected by the economy. The average salary of a resident in Peru, Indiana ends up being $28,487.
(Indiana) That number may not seem profound, but when you have a family to support, the budget

Yet, hunger only makes up for a small part of the complications that poverty brings. Without enough
money, how does someone suppose to afford to live in a house? Though most Miami County
residents do not see homeless people, does not hide the fact we have people living without a home.
Peru is not a big city like New York, or Los Angeles, but no matter where you are at in America,
there will always be those who cannot afford to rent or own any type of housing.
Even if everyone could afford some type of housing to live in, it does not mean they can afford all
the necessary utilities. Air conditioning is not a necessity, but someone might not have enough
money to provide a fan. The cost for utilities such as electricity for a fan to keep the cool in the
summer heat, or simply having running water might be a problem for someone with little to no
income. With winter approaching even some people will have to go without heat in the Miami
County area.

there was a need for a food pantry. He started his research in 2000 and within two years determined

Development Of The Metropolitan Or Urban University Essay
Introduction
The metropolitan or urban university is one of the newer institutional models within the American
higher education system (Whitney, 2005). Initially, a group of academic leaders from t thirteen
urban institutions formed an alliance called "the Urban 13" and began meeting regularly to discuss
how their institutions were different from all other institutional models (Whitney, 2005).
Internationally institutions of higher education have maintained their importance for both their
regional and national economies and wellbeing. Even our European counterparts have increased
their attention and debates on the need for higher education institutions, with some concentrating on
having fewer institutions with a higher quality. As I young institution, only forty–seven years old,
Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) has and is continuing to go through
growth and establishing an identity as a regional campus. For this paper I will focus on Housing and
Residence Life at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, and how it has grown since
its inception. strategic management within the Division of Student Affairs, is the ongoing
development of on–campus housing options for students. Housing and Residence Life directly
impacts student retention through programming, leadership opportunities, and product design.

A New Study On The American Schooling System
A famous quote once said, "Knowledge is power." A new study shows that the American schooling
system, when compared to other countries, such as China, that has parallel statuses, is lagging
extremely behind regarding educational achievement; matter of fact, the United States ranks in the
lowest quartile in such an assessment. Research, along with student exam scores, has also shown a
substantial achievement gap between students of little and high economic states. So President Bush
created No Child Left Behind, which deals with Common Core. However, Common Core is not
effective because it's too vigorous too early, not enough training to properly implement in the school
districts, and all students are not the same. Common Core: two ... Show more content on

Numerous court cases deal with Common Core, but there is this one that is in New Orleans that
stuck out the most. It states that a child should be easily able to accomplish to the next grade without
struggling. Students in elementary are getting college work, and not learning what they need to get
to go to the next grade. Children in Kindergarten are learning how to multiply before they learn how
to subtract or add. To some people, this sounds great, but is it? One should want his or her child to
find out how to add before multiply because it goes hand and hand. The people that made Common
Core made the parents believe that it is right for his or her child, however, the curriculum includes
hard topics that are learned in higher grades. "Put a stop to Common Core before it does further
damage to our children's education." (Haskins, State Discretion over Subject). There are parents
around the world that want common core to stop because they are "complaining about the new
Common Core–aligned Math and English curriculum their children are bringing home" (Toscano,
The Common Core). Common core is not only stressing out the children, but it is also stressing out
the parents that care about his or her child well–being. The teachers are not getting the proper
training he or she needs to teach the children. With common core, teachers have to teach the child

Collegiate Athletics Vs. Indiana State University Board Of...
Collegiate athletics is growing each day and the athletes are becoming faster, stronger, and quicker
each day. As the competition on the field improves, the risk of injury also becomes more of a
possibility. While strength and conditioning coaches have created athletes who are able to withstand
more physical play and can rehab quicker from injury, they have also created monsters on the
playing field and court. As collegiate athletics grows into a multibillion dollar industry, the players
expect to have more benefits available to them, including workers' compensation. We have seen a
variety of situations arise recently were players are looking to secure their own safety when playing
such physical games.
In 1976, a football student–athlete at Indiana State University suffered an injury that left him as a
quadriplegic. In 1983, the case Rensing v. Indiana State University Board of Trustees was heard by
the Indiana State Supreme Court. The court decided that "the Indiana court of appeals incorrectly
concluded that Rensing was an employee under the Workmen's Compensation Act" and therefore
Indiana State University was not responsible to provide Rensing with any medical or disability

The Pros And Cons Of Governor Rick Snyder

same? If your image was in jeopardy, would you have done the same? I agree with the other side
that he should have brought up the issue earlier because he furthered the damage of the trust that he
had with the people of Michigan. Rick Snyder is a good governor; he has done a lot of good things.

your performance in school. College can become very pricy, and looking for ways to stay out of
debt can be stressful. However Ball State happens to offer over 500 scholarships for incoming

university is to recruit more students and increase their current knowledge. Many universities focus
on other aspects such as research development. Ball State happens to encourage students and faculty
to bring forth any research ideas they may have. Two programs called Sponsored Projects
Administration and Ball State Innovation Corporation (BSIC), is meant for finding and funding new
research opportunities, in attempt of educating others. The Rivers of Research is apart of an ongoing

The Hoosiers Essay
Hoosiers begins as formerly ousted coach Norman Dale arrives at the small schoolhouse in Hickory,
Indiana, where he has just been hired as both basketball coach and history/civics teacher. Upon
arriving he is greeted rather unpleasantly by fellow teacher Myra Fleener, who embodies everything
about a small town such as Hickory. After an impromptu questioning, Fleener finally directs Coach
Dale up to the office of principal Cletus Summers, the man who hired him, a former friend of
Norman Dale. After a brief conversation they proceed to head down to the school's gym where local
legend Jimmy Chitwood is shooting by himself. Jimmy proceeds to ignore the new coach and

Teams become a brotherhood, the comradery is unmatched in a regular social setting, and the best
teams are almost always the most cohesive. The Huskers start the season on shaky ground with two
players quitting within the first practice, only for one of them to return shortly thereafter. After the
players realize that Coach Norman Dale has their respective backs things do start to turn towards a
positive direction, chemistry wise. At one point in the movie, a kid from a team that Hickory is
playing is egregiously disrespectful towards Coach Dale, and the bond between the players and their
coach takes over and a fight ensues. Although fighting would generally seem a bad show of
character, this situation shows that this team is starting to click as a cohesive unit. Even the son of
Shooter, who had previously been irate about his father being brought on to coach, it becomes
obvious that even a bond between them is starting to appear once again. Additionally, as the town
bears down on Coach Dale the team stands by their coach, and wants to show solidarity with him. In
yet another showing of confidence within the team, in a game where the short–handed Huskers
found themselves even more short–handed they had to rely on Ollie to play in an important moment.
Ollie when Norman Dale took over at the first practice didn't even consider himself a member of the
team because of his small stature. Coach Dale put him in the game and his patience was tested with
a handful of poor plays but then he was sent to the free throw line for two free throws down one
point. Coach Norman Dale showed his belief in Ollie in the huddle before the free throws by saying
"After Ollie makes both free throws" to run back on

The Life of Larry Bird
Many people wish for greatness; Larry Bird worked for it until he achieved it, particularly in
basketball. Basketball has always been a fast–paced, exciting game to watch. The sport has even
been nationally televised for decades. The game has gained special popularity because of its
superstars. National Basketball Association (NBA) superstars are recognized by many as the most
recognizable pro athletes. Larry Bird was one of the most famous stars of the league, and his
popularity greatly increased the publics' interest in the league. Larry Bird's fame and basketball
success was brought about by his hard work and competitiveness.
It all began on December 7, 1956, in a rural Indiana town called West Baden; Larry Bird was born
(Borden n. pag.). His family's life in West Baden and French Lick was anything but glamorous.
However, Bird said, "I just never realized how poor we were. Nobody in French Lick was wealthy"
(Borden n. pag.). This poor community lifestyle led to his eventual interest in basketball, as he and
his brothers couldn't afford other entertainments. They instead competed against each other in any
sport they could. Larry's brothers helped him improve as a player by beating him so badly that he
wanted to "practice his skills in order to beat them" (Borden n. pag.).
As he grew up, Larry began to also excel in high school basketball. He drew a great amount of
interest from his community

Personal Narrative: Level II Traumas

her twelve house shift at the hospital. At the end of her shift her life stopped for a short time when
she received a phone call that her 8 year old son Teagan, was hit by a car, and had multiple injuries.
I rushed to meet Ashley at the local airport where they were transporting her son by ambulance so
he could be flown out to a level II trauma unit in Fort Wayne Indiana.
Teagan suffered several broken bones, stitches, bruising, and a concussion, but thankfully he was

The 19th State to Join the Union: Indiana
Going into the 17th century, many territories started to join the United States of America. Indiana
was the 19th state to be admitted into the union on December 11, 1816 and still exists today. The
French first discovered Indiana in 1679, but later was taken over by George Rogers Clark who led
the American army in the Revolutionary War. Indiana became a very agricultural state majoring in
growing corn. With its ample history, Indiana has transformed from a dull state to a thriving state in
the Mid–West.
Indiana is located in the Mid–West, east of Illinois and west of Ohio. As of 2012, the population of
Indiana is 6.537 million people. The motto of Indiana is "The Crossroads of America" because many
major interstate highways cross through the state. This opens up travel for many residents of
Indiana. Originally, the state flower was the Zinnia flower, but it changed in 1957 due to complaints
by farmers and for commercial reasons. The state flower is now the "Peony" which was adopted by
the Indiana General Assembly. Indiana was admitted into the union on December 11, 1816 when
James Madison signed the act of congress to allow them to become apart of the union.
Indiana's major city is Indianapolis, which also happens to be its capitol. Indianapolis is the capitol
because it is very close to the center of the state and congress wanted to take advantage of people
migrating to the west. It was originally apart of the Marion County. Indianapolis grew slowly

The issue of legalizing same–sex marriage is one thing, but denying service to someone because of
their sexual orientation is a completely different topic. I think that denying a person a marital
ceremony could be because of religious beliefs. However, a person's sexual orientation does not
affect any other person, nor does it affect the way they should be served or treated in a public
setting. The United States is a free country so people should be able to express themselves however
they want to. If an employee is given the ability to deny service to a person because of something
this small, people will eventually be able to deny service to people for all kinds of pointless reasons.
We should be uniting together as a state and giving fair treatment to all citizens, instead of

Argumentative Essay On Indiana House Elections
With the 2016 general election coming up, the citizens of Indiana will be electing their members of
Congress to represent the state and its districts. The Indiana Senate race that has received a lot of
attention is the race between Todd Young and Evan Bayh. An Indiana House race that has been
receiving a lot of attention is the District 9 race between Shelli Yoder and Trey Hollingsworth.
When analyzing these races, a wide variety of factors, such as demographics, money, and scandals
should to be taken into consideration. In terms of the Senate race in Indiana, there have been
fourteen shifts in party power in that particular seat over time (Ballotpedia). But in general, Indiana
has been a Republican leaning state throughout much of its history. In 2004, Evan Bayh (D) was
elected to the Indiana Senate. In 2010, Dan Coats (R) was elected to the seat. In the very next
election, Joe Donnelly (D) took over the seat. Dan Coats retook the seat in 2014 and is now stepping
down to make room for either Evan Bayh (D) or Todd Young (R) (Indiana Secretary of State).

In this day and age, almost everything costs money. If you want to go out and do something
entertaining, it can be expensive. Tell City is a pretty boring town, and there is not really much to do
here. However, you can have fun for cheap if you know where to go. We have a movie theater,
restaurants, hiking trails, and plenty of grocery stores around town that you can go to to find snacks
and meals to prepare. Many people that live here complain that they never have anything to do.
People also complain that anything we can do costs too much money. Taking a girl out on a date is
almost impossible without spending a lot of money. What people do not know is that you can have a
good weekend with less than $20 here in Tell City, if you know ... Show more content on

Prices for movies are great; regular showtimes for children three to twelve is six dollars, adults
thirteen and over is eight dollars, and senior citizens sixty and over is six dollars. The matinee
movies, which are movies that start before six p.m., are six dollars. There is also a special for
fireman, policeman, and military who have their ID's, their movie tickets are six dollars.
Concessions are always expensive at movie theaters, but ours is cheaper than most. There are four
different movies playing at any given time. Cinema 66 is also doing a Christmas special, with Elf
playing on December 21st and The Polar Express playing on December 28th. The best part about
this Christmas deal is that both movies are free for anyone to come and watch! This is a perfect date
for cheap, and one thing that I would recommend doing. If you really want a cheap but fun night,
having a movie night would be a very good idea. We have Redbox that you can rent movies from
for $1.50 a day. The Redbox has a great variety of movies, and it iz usually stocked pretty well with
favorable movies. The Redbox's here in Tell City are placed pretty conveniently for movie nights,
the four that we have are placed around grocery stores. There are two at Walmart, one at Dollar
General, and one at Family Dollar. A more convenient source for movies is Netflix, it is $7.99 a
month and it has great movies and television shows. Movie nights and Netflix binge watching is

Case Study Of Police Law

  • 1. Case Study Of Police Law Monday, October 02, 2017 at 14:42, city units were dispatched to assist the Washington State Department of Corrections (DOC), DOC1 at the Jefferson County Fair Grounds, space #16. Officer Isett was out with two subjects, a male and female for violations of status. He was requesting city unit to assist with the male. Officer Perry and myself arrived on scene and found Officer Isett out with Kellen Grewell and Annie Tracy. Tracy was in custody and in wrist restraints. Grewell was standing by the motorhome that they both are currently living in. The motor home (WA 611XAR), is listed as Tracy's address with DOC (where ever it is parked). Officer Isett advised me he had information from a Jefferson County Detective that text messages ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Officer Isett seized the pan and observed that there were dried mushrooms in a plastic baggy in the pan along with some smoking pipes. The mushrooms appeared to be Psilocybin type mushrooms (commonly called magic mushrooms, or shrooms). DOC is authorized to search a residence, which a supervised subject is living in, and Tracy is a WA DOC supervised subject. Grewell is being supervised by Jefferson County District Court. I took Grewell into custody on probable cause from Officer Isett, for possession of controlled substance (Psilocybin). I placed him in wrist restraints and locked them for safety and for comfort. I searched Grewell incident to arrest and did not find any contraband or weapons on his person. I read Grewell his Miranda warning and he said he understood his rights and would talk to me. He admitted to me he had the mushrooms in his possession and he was trying to hide them when he was discovered by Officer Isett. At the station I conducted a NARCO 929 test on the mushrooms (lot#15163) and got a positive presumptive test result of Psilocybin. I booked the mushrooms (weighing 9.2 g in the plastic bag) into evidence, as evidence, marked NSH–1 in locker E–2, along with NSH–2, a bag full of drug paraphernalia unrelated to the mushrooms. The drug paraphernalia was marked for destruction. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Defining Success In John Wooden's 'Pyramid Of Success' John Wooden once said, "success is peace of mind which is a direct result of self–satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best you are capable of becoming." This quotation is relevant to the question of how would you define success because success can be defined in many ways, depending on who you are asking. For you to have a better understanding, I will explain how success is defined in John Wooden's "Pyramid of Success", next how success was defined in the movie "Hoosiers", also how Bobby Plump saw success in his Milan team, and lastly how I have had success in my life time. In John Wooden's "Pyramid of Success" he gives all the characteristics that he thinks defines success. There is fifteen different characteristics, there are three of them that in my opinion are very important in success. The most important trait in my opinion is Competitive Greatness. John defines it as " Being at your best when your best is needed. Enjoyment of a difficult challenge." I do not think I would define it that way, I would define it as trying to be the best you can and putting as much effort it takes to become the greatest at what you are doing. The next trait is Self–Control, he defines it as practicing Self–Control and keeping emotions under control. Having good judgement and common sense. I agree with his definition, if you do not agree with a call then do not yell at the refs, bite your tongue and go back to playing. Do not show negative emotions! If the other team sees that they can get under your skin than they will just keep doing it. Lastly and in my eyes the most important is Team Spirit. Team spirit is huge in my opinion, everyone on the team should have the same goal and that is to become and to play at the greatest of your ability. The only way to achieve that goal is to have everyone striving to do their best and want the best for the rest of their teammates. We all know that one guy on the team who could care less if they were there or does not try hard at practice. Or the one guy who always says, "There is no way we can win this game, they are too good." So, what I am saying is that if someone has a big night and puts up 20 points then be excited for them. If a guy hits a walk–off then go ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Selecting The Next Chapter Selecting the Next Chapter Eventually, we all reach the age at the end of our high school career when we have to choose a path. The path that we select will guide each of us to the trail that we will follow for the rest of our lives. Some of us will choose to go directly into the workforce, potentially go to a trade school, or even go onto a post–secondary education in order to obtain a degree. What decision we make then determines what the rest of our life will hold, how successful we can possibly be, our yearly salary, and can introduce us to people who will play active roles throughout our entire life. Now, I am a senior in high school, and I have quickly found this decision right on my doorstep. Over the past few years, I have had my eyes on several different post–secondary college options, but I have narrowed this list quite significantly over the past few months based on factors like their available majors, the college's size, and the extracurricular activities that are offered by the institution. With this said, I have selected three colleges that have specifically caught my eye based on these factors: Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky; Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana; and Saint Mary–of–the–Woods College in St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana. Majors Of course, when selecting colleges recently, it was necessary to pick those ones that followed my interest base. Ideally, this would be to obtain a Master's Degree in Science for Agricultural ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Ample options of sport have created an enormous market for the community and visitors to experience. One downfall of being in Indianapolis is the enormous amount of sport market competition. Entering into the sports market in Indianapolis can create an underdog feeling to an already competitive market share. Indy Fuel has to take the necessary steps in order to gain a competitive advantage from established organizations and not let history repeat itself. With Indy Fuel being in its third year, they are slowly starting to catch the attention of the Indianapolis community and work towards creating a passion for hockey in a state that is defined by basketball. In 1979–1980, the city welcomed the Indianapolis Checkers. The Checkers lasted three more seasons before relocating to Denver. Indianapolis went without professional hockey for a year before the Indiana Ice arrived in 1988–89. The Ice brought the return of the Turner Cup to Indianapolis for the first time since the Chiefs won it back in 1958. The 1998–99 season began to show signs of struggle for the IHL, prompting a switch to the Central Hockey League. Continuing to play until 2003–04, the Indiana Ice decided it was time to fold, bringing an end to professional hockey in Indianapolis ("The History"). A 10–year gap of hockey was not enough to discourage owner Jim Hallett from bringing hockey back to Indianapolis. The Indy Fuel, an East Coast Hockey League expansion franchise, set its hockey roots in Indianapolis in 2014. With a mix of positive and negative history of hockey in Indianapolis, the Indy Fuel has the challenge of not letting history repeat itself and making Indianapolis a strong hockey market ("The History"). • 5. Essay Follow the River Follow the River Follow The River by James Alexander Thom is about Mary Ingles gruesome but yet courageous tale of her remarkable 1,000 mile journey home after she had escaped form the captivity of the Shawnee Indians. Through Mary Ingles hard work and determination she proved that all obstacles big and small can be overcome. The book started out with a bloody massacre at Mary Ingles Virginia settlement in 1755. Mary Ingles was pregnant with her third child and twenty–four years of age when the Shawnee Indians came and kidnapped her, her two sons, her sister–in–law, and her neighbor. The journey to the Shawnee village lasted five weeks in the Virginia wilderness, and once the captives arrived at the village they were ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The two courageous women walked through freezing rivers and climbed up small cliffs for forty days, with hardly nothing to eat since everything was barren because of the winter, overall the two women walked 1,000 miles. Finally Mary was able to find her husband, but after thirteen years she was able to ransom for only one of her sons back and her sister–in–law, the other two children were kept by the Shawnee. Follow the River had a lot of dialogue leaving the reader with the feeling that they were battling the Virginia wilderness right along with Mary Ingles. James Alexander Thom used vivid description on everything that he wrote, he painted the picture for the reader with a myriad of words, and he left no leaf undescribed in the Virginia wilderness. The only thing that seemed confusing about this book is that the reader can never figure out where Mary Ingles is , it would help a lot if a map was placed somewhere in the book showing the trail of Mary and her companion. James Alexander Thom did seem a little bias in his book. He would call The Shawnee Indians heathens, he always just looked at the English point of view and never the Indians point of view, because at this time the reader should be informed that the Indians are being forced to be moved from place to place by the white man, but I don't believe that the authors intent was to give the Shawnee Indians a bad name he just wanted to get the point across that some young pioneer ... After going back and reviewing my performance evaluation of Sophia Barrow, I feel like I did a very good job overall. The first thing I feel like I did well during the meeting was keeping the conversation balanced. Keeping the conversation balanced and not talking too much was my main issue going into the meeting. The next thing I feel like I did really well on was asking for her opinion on her ratings of herself throughout the meeting. To be an effective sales manager you need to understand the reasons behind the ratings the reps are giving themselves. I am very pleased with my performance overall and feel excellent about the outcome of the meeting. 2.How effective do you think the meeting was for the salesperson you evaluated, and what cues and evidence lead you to this conclusion? I think the meeting was very effective for Sophia Barrow because she always seemed to agree with my ratings or at least adjust her ratings of herself after our discussion. The " Keep Indianapolis Beautiful" organization is the reason there is a great appreciation for art, nature and sense of community in Indianapolis. As we know it today, Indianapolis is at its highest peak in employment and rated as one of the best cities to relocate to in America for better careers and quality of life. However, back in the 1940's Indianapolis was referred to as a "raw, dirty and unkept city...", a city people should avoid. Gangs, drugs, loitering and other illegal acts surfaced many neighborhoods and communities during that time. Considering where Indianapolis is today, one would never believe this city used to be ins such despair. Thanks to many civic leaders, devoted women and passionate residents, Indianapolis went from a trashy, neglected city to a place of beauty, pride and opportunities. Throughout this profile, I will identify how KIB's legacy was created, its contibution to social capital through "private action for public good", and why KIB is vital for not only Indianapolis, but the world in its entirety. In 1947, John Gunther, an American journalist, was responsible for the negative perspective on the city of Indianapolis. In the 1960's and 70's, around the time women demanded to be heard in society, many women of Indianapolis came together to clean streets and alleys: referring to themselves as the Keep Indiana Beautiful Club. An Indiana House race that has been receiving a lot of attention is the District 9 race between Shelli Yoder and Trey Hollingsworth. When analyzing these races, a wide variety of factors, such as demographics, money, and scandals should to be taken into consideration. In terms of the Senate race in Indiana, there have been fourteen shifts in party power in that particular seat over time (Ballotpedia). But in general, Indiana has been a Republican leaning state throughout much of its history. In 2004, Evan Bayh (D) was elected to the Indiana Senate. In 2010, Dan Coats (R) was elected to the seat. In the very next election, Joe Donnelly (D) took over the seat. Dan Coats retook the seat in 2014 and is now stepping down to make room for either Evan Bayh (D) or Todd Young (R) (Indiana Secretary of State).
