2. The idea of ‘Snake’ being our film name
came about as it fits in – like many of our
other suggestions – with the themes and
characters in the films. It follows the
narrative of our film because the Femme
Fatale is an undercover policewoman/spy
which is trying to bring down the Male
Protagonist.
I like this font because it is bold and
catches the eye, forcing your attention to
click to the word.
This font is a little more quaint and less ‘in
your face’. This may entice the audience
into watching this film as it is more
reluctant and can be appealing to a
different, more reserved type of audience.
3. Lockdown is very suited to our
narrative as the Femme Fatale is
trying to imprison the Male
Protagonist for being a high status
drug baron. Lockdown refers to the
confining of a prisoner to their cell
in order to regain control.
This font is rugged and irregular which
can be reminiscent of the Male
Protagonist’s actions in the drug
trade.
I like this font as it is stamped on,
much like a prison cell number or
door. This fits nicely with our
narrative and has an essence of
brutality and action about it.
4. This font has a military feel
about it and ‘The Drop’ is
referring to the dropping off
of the drugs.
This font is a more classy font
than the other as it has more
flicks and twirls. I don’t
particularly like this font but it
is good to catch a broad
spectrum when researching
to open all avenues.
5. This font is fairly subdued and is not
much of a statement. I think if we
were to decide on this font as our
title then the audience would see
the boring font and would be
uninspired to watch our film.
This is the opposite of the other font
with bold capitals it is easier to
make out what it says whilst being
far more eye catchy – hence,
drawing in the audience more.
6. ‘Something Else’ suggest mystery about our film and the blurry writing adds
effect to the title. Not only making it harder to read but it makes you think
deeper into the narrative – what could be hidden from the audience? Why is
there uncertainty in this film? Is everything really what it seems?
This title is good as it suggests that what is going on is murky and unclear. It is
an interesting font as well that draws your attention to it as, due to the
blurry writing, you may not be able to make out what it says initially, making
you read it more than once.
