2. We will recruit two actors to play the lead
singer, one to play the younger lead singer and
the one to play the lead singer when he makes
it. Here is a shortlist of 2 of the younger actors
we are likely to use:
This is Billy, he is
12. He does drama
and musical theatre
for a hobby so it’s
likely that he will
be a good actor.
Also, he has brown
hair and brown
eyes which is what
we want the lead
singer to look like
to look like our
already recruited
older lead singer.
This is Dean, he is 18.
He will play the older
lead singer. He also has
brown hair and brown
eyes. He is already part
of a band, so this made
the casting easy
because we could
employ his whole band.
This also means that his
acting won’t need to
be top quality because
on the whole he will be
filmed during the
performance element.
He also has a good sex
appeal.
3. We chose these two boys to represent the
link singer because Billy is quite sweet and
girls in particular may feel sympathetic. As
well as this, he is part of a drama school at
weekends and is quite good acting.
Dean on the other hand, already plays guitar
and therefore, to do the performance
element, won’t be difficult.
Despite the two boys not looking alike, most
of Billy’s scenes will be in black and white so
the audience won’t notice it as much.
4. This is Adam, he is 18. He
doesn’t play drums but has
had practice trying to play
the sock as realistic as
possible. He is quite good
looking which means he will
appeal a female audience.
This is Joe, he already
plays bass in a bad and is
aged 17. He has quite a
good indie rock image so
if you changed his
clothes a bit he would
look suitable for the
part.
This is James, he is 17
and plays lead guitar,
vey well. He is good
looking so he will
appeal to a female
teenage audience.
5. Dad- We want the lead singers dad to be
intimidating as when he chucks the guitar out
the window and is asleep on the sofa, we want
him to be shown as out of control.
Music shop owner- We will most likely ask the
genuine shop owner if we can film him for our
music video.
The two bullies – Two of our friends will act as
the two bullies. We probably won’t see their
face so as long as they look the part, their face
doesn’t. The bullies will beat up Billy so we may
have to film the scene a few times to make it
look as realistic as possible.
6. Nowadays, indie rock bands are getting
younger. Bands such as Catfish and the
Bottlemen and The Sherlocks.
These bands target a wide audience ranging
from ages 16-40. Both boys and girls are fans
of them.

which each appeal to a certain female
audience
