Purpose:
The purposeof sing street is to advertise the musical and to make
money. Itis also giving the actors a career.
Audience:
I believe the audience who will watch this fill consists of teenagers and
adults. I also believe that teenagers will be able to relate to the film.
Anyonewho like music and drama.
Micro elements:
Non-diegetic sound when Connor arrives at the new school. Different
camera angles to representthe characters that are in the school. Also,
the teacher is represented as the boss as he is up in the schoolwhile all
his students are being bad.
2. Driveit like you stole it:
Diegetic song as the band is playing it. However, it is a fantasy scene in a
real hall, in the fantasy scene their clothes changed and everyonegets
along- in reality they don’t
Editing- no real rhythm, justinvisible editing of the band and the crowd.
There is shot/reverseof Connor looking at the door hoping the girl will
arrive.
Key narrativemoments- mum and dad/ the ex-boyfriend. Everyone
coming together. His brother who never leaves the houseand gets quite
angry easily was there.
