Show’s scenes from film ‘Twilight’ which is a film that most of the target audience of Paramore like. Again, dull lighting reflects mood of the song. Black and white monotone colour pallet also reflects this throughout. Lots of close ups to show emotion from Adele which reflects the genre.
3. 2. There is a relationship between lyrics and visuals. Chemical Brothers, The Salmon Dance. The song is about a Salmon dance…. And in the video…. Salmon dance! Basement Jaxx, Oh my Gosh. Song is about love and finding people attractive ‘he’s making eyes at me but I don’t mind’. This song reflects this but is given ironic twist by the characters in the music video being old!

Weird little girl in the video playing xylophone when that is playing in the actual music. Flashing colours which mimics rave which is what they are suggesting what their live performances are like.

Continuous close ups of all band members showing they are untied and ‘part of the team’. Everyone gets equal screen time showing them all as being important. All the girls fancy them so they are always shown. They are the main focus of the music video. Lady Gaga, Born this Way. Constant close ups of her being weird or dancing. Showing her as individual and original. The record label showing what Gaga is all about, her dancing and crazy outfits which is what her audience want to see
6. 5. Frequently reference of notions of looking. Particularity voyeuristic treatment of the female body Rihanna Rude Boy. Overly sexualised. Isn’t that obvious from the song title?
7. Intertextual References Lady Gaga Telephone. References to Kill Bill with the ‘Pussy Wagon’ and Thelma and Louise with the two women committing homicide. Weezer, Pork and Beans. Has little clips all over music video which are from youtube etc. Such as the crazy ‘Britney is a person too’ … guy.
