A
–
Research
This
is
my
marketing
questionnaire
1. Look
at
the
marketing
material
for
Grease
at
the
Wolverhampton
Grand
Theatre
–
is
it
obvious
what
the
advertising
is
for?
2. Do
you
think
this
marketing
material
makes
it
clear
when
and
where
the
show
is
on
and
how
much
it
costs?
3. Do
you
think
the
colour
choices
in
the
marketing
are
the
right
ones
for
the
target
audience?
Do
they
make
you
think
of
the
product
(Grease)?
4. Do
you
think
the
fonts
and
images
in
the
marketing
are
the
right
ones
for
the
target
audience?
Do
they
make
you
think
of
the
product
(Grease?)
5. Would
seeing
this
marketing
make
you
more
or
less
likely
to
go
and
see
the
show?
I
used
the
questionnaire
to
talk
to
• 10
sixth
form
students
• 5
year
10
students
• 2
members
of
staff
This
is
a
summary
of
the
information
I
received
and
my
thoughts
on
it.
1. Look
at
the
marketing
material
for
Grease
at
the
Wolverhampton
Grand
theatre
–
is
it
obvious
what
the
advertising
is
for?
• Everybody
agreed
It
is
obviously
for
Grease
• People
who
knew
Grease
made
the
point
that
although
it
doesn’t
look
like
the
film
(because
of
different
actors)
it
doesn’t
actually
say
that
it’s
for
a
stage
play
but
they
thought
most
people
could
work
that
out
because
it
doesn’t
look
like
a
film
poster.
2. Do
you
think
this
marketing
material
makes
it
clear
when
and
where
the
show
is
on
and
how
much
it
costs?
• Everyone
agreed
that
it
doesn’t
say
anything
about
when
it
was
on
or
how
much
it
cost.
• Almost
everyone
assumed
that
it
was
on
at
the
Grand
Theatre
and
said
that
it
would
be
easy
to
find
out
when
it
was
on
and
how
much
it
cost.
• Some
people
wondered
if
it
was
like
a
‘teaser’
poster
and
that
a
poster
closer
to
the
time
of
performance
would
tell
you
more
details
about
when
it
was
on.
3. Do
you
think
the
colour
choices
in
the
marketing
are
the
right
ones
for
the
target
audience?
Do
they
make
you
think
of
the
product
(Grease)?
• Everyone
thought
that
the
choice
of
bring
pink
as
the
main
colour
scheme
really
made
the
advertising
stand
out
so
that
it
would
be
very
difficult
not
to
notice
it
• Almost
everyone
pointed
out
that
the
very
bright
pink
meant
that
this
was
really
aimed
at
women
rather
than
men
2. • Everyone
agreed
that
it
was
clear
that
the
advertisement
was
for
Grease
and
almost
everyone
agreed
that
it
was
clear
that
it
was
for
a
theatre
production
of
Grease.
4. Do
you
think
the
fonts
and
images
in
the
marketing
are
the
right
ones
for
the
target
audience?
Do
you
make
you
think
of
the
product
(Grease)?
• Everyone
thought
the
images
were
very
good
for
the
product
• Almost
everyone
thought
the
fonts
and
words
were
very
good
for
the
product.
People
who
knew
Grease
said
that
they
were
surprised
it
didn’t
use
the
original
logo
from
the
film.
5. Would
seeing
this
marketing
make
you
more
likely
to
go
and
see
the
show?
• Everyone
agreed
that
it
was
good
marketing
at
making
it
clear
there
was
a
production
of
Grease
coming.
• Everyone
agreed
that
it
was
generally
well
done
for
the
target
audience
• Almost
everyone
said
that
the
thing
most
likely
to
make
them
go
to
a
school
show
was
not
advertising
but
whether
their
relatives
or
friends
were
in
it.
