Learning Aim A Enterprise Review
Recording the development of your ideas I set up a blog and recorded all of the development of my work there.
Creative skills for initiating ideas I chose a range of creative marketing campaigns to analyse as part of my first stage
research work – the Amazon Echo and then two different films from the suggested ones
Using your initiative I decided quickly that I was most interested in making a more conventional trailer and I
started to think in terms of what people you might be interested in Grease would want to
see.
Working independently I completed all of my own analytical pieces, most of the time working on texts that I had
chosen myself and the rest of the group weren’t working on.
Working in a team – leading, delegating,
compromising
I took part in team discussions about how we were going to arrange the different parts of
the marketing campaign. There were three of us who wanted to make trailers and I
pushed to take on a more traditional trailer and also in using original footage from the film
Applying self-motivation I completed a range of analytical tasks working independently within the lesson and also
outside of lesson time.
Applying research skills I researched a range of texts as part of my primary research that I chose myself
Changing ideas in response to your
research
I focussed in my research on how the more successful campaigns had a clear idea of who
their audience were and what their audience wanted, and had a product that would give
them what they wanted. This made me focus on wanting to develop a trailer that used
some of the original film footage as well as footage I would take of our cast.
Self-evaluating your work and your skills I wasn’t doing any particularly creative work in this task but I tried to ask myself whether I

development had kept the big question – about the link between the media product, the marketing and
the audience, in the front of my mind.
Applying communication skills,
interpersonal skills, written, visual and
oral communications skills
I worked to get on well and professionally with the other students when we worked
together to start our planning.
Problem skills This didn’t really come up in this task
Time management – meeting deadlines I did my best to meet my deadlines.
