4TH-18th, Create a college magazine, using Photoshop and DSLR’s.
• What went well? I learnt how to use Photoshop fast and effectively.
• What didn't? I could have made it look better.
• What would you do better next time? Improve the presentation on it.
2. OCTOBER
Learning task: Pitch a media product, research codes and conventions for a similar
product.
• What did you learn? I learnt what codes and conventions were and also learnt
new skills for pitching a media product.
• What codes and conventions did you realize you needed to include in your
product to make it look realistic? The codes and conventions that I needed to
include was the different camera angles that was needed to be used ect.
3. NOVEMBER
Learning task:
• Audience research for media product ideas.
• (Audience profiles, focus groups, interviews)
• Developed pitch by creating a synopsis, storyboard and identifying cast and crew.
• Explored scheduling and technical requirements for the product.
How has this researched helped with your ideas? The research helped as it gave me
an inside to what I needed to include.
