How media technologies were used in construction, research, planning and evaluation

Question 4- How did you
use media technologies in
the construction, research,
planning and evaluation.
2. + I Used Photoshop to help edit my photos at
first, this was from my first design, which I later
changed and used the unedited originals, it’s a
easy program to use and because I used it last
year for our magazine it was useful having that
previous experience.
InDesign was used to create my actual digipak
and magazine front cover. It was sometimes
challenging to use, I struggled getting the right
colours, but after a few tries I worked it out,
overall its not a hard program to use and the
outcome was successful.
I used premiere pro to create my music video,
at times it didn't’t work for me and I had
problems with the sound jittering and not
matching up to the video, but I learnt that it
was to do with audio hardware and the
problem was sorted.

Word was one of the main things
that I used to present my work, it’s
east to use and is a good way to
layout information, seeing as I
have used word for years it wasn’t
challenging in any way at all.
The same is with PowerPoint, I
used this as a way to display
research, I find it easy to navigate
around and you can make a
presentation as fun and interesting
as you want on PowerPoint by
using different themes .
4. + Scribd and slideshare
are both used to as a
way to put word and
powerpoint onto
blogger, they are both
good but sometimes I
have problems with the
crashing and not
uploading properly.
I used Storyboard that
to create my plan for
my music video, it was
easy to use, although
you had to delete it
after 3 slides and start
again each time.
Prezi was also a new way of
presenting research, it a more
creative way, the only problem at
first was finding the embedded code
but it all work out .
5. +
YouTube was how I uploaded
my music video to then link
across to my blog, it’s easy to
use and I had no problems
with it.
Blogger is the main way of
presenting my work, it’s
straightforward and easy to
use. Experience from last
year was good and helped to
know what I was doing this
year.
