2. For the research of my project I used
I started using this in my research and then
continued to use it throughout my project.
I had to learn how to post my
photos, surveys, research, pages and so on.
To post things like surveys I also had to use
the ‘text’ component for the coding.
I found it good for uploading everything.
I started using this for my research,
posting some polls and some surveys.
I also later used this in research for my
evaluation and to improve my
magazine by getting people’s opinions.
I had to create polls and surveys and
post them onto my blog.
3. For the making of my project
I had to use Photoshop to edit my images for my magazine.
The first time using it was during the school magazine
making, although I barely used it during this. For my school
magazine, I edited photos by taking things out of them and
changing the colouring to make it look more sophisticated
and interesting.
It was difficult to grasp at first but I have now learnt how to
use it very well.
I used InDesign to produce both my school
magazine. During the making of my school
magazine I learnt briefly how to use it, by
adding text and images and using margins.
During the making of my music magazine I
used it for much more such as some photo
editing, grouping components, layers and
so on. I feel as though I now have a good
understanding of how to use the software.
4. For my evaluation
For question 2 I used a microphone for an audio post. I had to
first post this to soundcloud and then embed the soundcloud
file onto a blog post.
For a lot of my questions I used PowerPoint, which then had to
be uploaded to SlideShare before putting it on my blog.
For question 5 I used a video camera to film my answer of me
doing a presentation. I had to also use YouTube to upload this
before embedding it into a post on my blog.
For question 3 I used a Prezi.
I had to create it on this website by making the design and
adding text. I then embedded this into my blog.
5. I also had to use cameras for the making of my
music magazine.
This meant that I had to make sure I had a good
setting and used the camera well, by using certain
modes and making sure it was in focus.
I also had to use things like lighting technology.
For my evaluation, I also used a microphone and
video camera.
