2. 180 Degree Rule
The 180 Degree rule is an important one to follow, the reason for this is
because if the rule is broken the actor/actress on the left side would then
switch to the right, and vice a versa, to ensure the rule is met the camera
has to stay in a 180 Degree radius, as shown below.
3. Match On Action
Match On Action is when an action is filmed in
several clips and then edited together to make
one fluent movement, in this case walking and
opening doors, it allowed us to take a series of
close ups, mid shots and different angles.
4. Shot Reverse Shot
This shot is often used for conversations between
two characters, to achieve this the camera is set
up over the shoulder of one of the characters, the
character who is facing the camera then says all
of their lines. The other character does the same
thing. It is then edited together so it’s like flowing
conversation.
