5. Close Up
Close up is when the camera targets a specific thing clearly for example a
face.
6. Point Of View (POV)
Point of view shot shows us what the person sees. This shot is in numerous
amount of films. They use this type of shot to show people what the actor
or actress is feeling and doing. It makes us feel that we are them.
7. Extreme Wide Shot (EWS)
This shot is like a long shot however it is more further back and it shows
the surroundings much more clearly. it is very wide.
8. Extreme Close Up
Extreme close up is the same as a close up butis targeting one part of
something. For example an extreme close up of some one eyes.
9. Over The Shoulder
This shot is when the camera is on the shoulder of the actor or actress.
10. Medium Shot
A medium close shows half of the body or something else just like medium
shot but little bit more closer.
12. High Angle
High Angle is when the camera is high up, it is over the persons head. it
conveys they are vulnerable as it is looking down on them
13. Low Angle
Low angle is the opposite of high angle. It is show when the camera is
below the person. Low angle shows that they are superior as the look
strong. It conveys were looking up to them.
14. Canted Angle
Canted angle is when the camera is tilted. This shotis mostly used in horror
films convey danger.
16. Pan
This shot is a moving shot it follows an object or a person whre ever it goes. For example
if someone is moving their head right to left this is a moving shot which is a pan.
17. Tracking Shot
A tracking shot is a continuous shot that follows the scene that is
happening.
18. Aerial Shot
Aerial shot is when the camera is on top. It is showing everything from
down. As the camera is up we would be see the people looking down. It is
similar to high angle. It shows that people are vunerable. We see this type
of shot in a lot of thriller films, action and horror films.
