2. Shot Reverse Shot
This is when the camera goes from showing one
character to another matching both opposing
sides. This creates continuity as it looks like the
characters are facing each other so it becomes
more real for the audience, it is used mostly
when two characters are having a conversation.
3. Matching Action
This is when one action (not two different
actions) scene is being enforced. The camera
shot moves to focus on the action. There will be
a various shots of this action.

4. 180 Degree Rule
There’s a straight line where the camera cannot
be crossed. This is used to show continuity as it
doesn’t reveal the editing techniques.
If they go over the line it shows the opposing
side creating confusion with the audience
because the characters would be on the wrong
side that they had just seen.
