Engineered, designed and installed computer and network systems for the US Air Force, US
Army, and NASA. Performed site surveys, systems analysis, network systems engineering,
design, and deployment. Involved with both inside and outside cable plant design and
implementation. Experience with both copper and fiber environments. Designed, recommended,
and implemented Microsoft server and Microsoft database systems that manage document
imaging solutions.
Other duties included:
· Reviewed, evaluated ATM hardware and software management solutions for
the US Air Force and NASA. Performed site surveys, customer interviews,
and technology research to develop a systems evaluation and selection
criteria matrix for equipment, vendors, and implementation solutions. Carried
out customer design review, provided recommendations, and delivered high
level customer presentations.
· Designed and implemented Cisco LAN systems architecture for Army Space
command. This entailed design of the MDF, IDF, and cross platform
capabilities with phone and network systems. Coordinated customer
requirements and needs with vendor solutions. Translated network design
and requirements with STA team to ensure that delivered network solution
matched customer requirements. Enabled the installation teams by ensuring
they were provided with needed materials, equipment, and vendor training.
