The portfolio is intended to showcase a faculty member's accomplishments and materials in teaching, research, and service for evaluation and career advancement purposes.

Student course evaluation data
Statements from colleagues or administrators who have observed the faculty
member in the classroom
RESEARCH / SCHOLARSHIP (5-6 pages)
Description of the nature of faculty research
Statements from peers / administrators commenting on the importance of the
research study to the discipline
Selected sample of books and / or publications in refereed scholarly journals or
creative works
External funding / grants obtained and grant proposals under review
Editorial appointments / offices held in professional societies
