2. 5 W’s
• Who: People who enjoy wildlife and plants and who
travel.
• What: To help people know about the plants and
animals they see wherever they are.
• When: When they see a plant or animal that
interests them, or they think might be dangerous.
• Where: In the wild
• Why: The plant or animal might be dangerous and
they want to have more information about it.
3. Problem
• People can’t find the information they need
about the plants or animals, therefore they
are sometimes afraid to go outside.
4. Problem Question
• How can we help people find out if a plant or
animal is dangerous, or poisonous?
5. Key Insight
• People who travel around the world, in the wild, currently
have to read loads of books or search the internet in order to
get all the information they need about the wildlife. This
solution doesn't work, because you have to find lots of
different books or websites in order to know about the
animals or plants.
• Our key insight is that people need all the information quickly
and readily available, to help them overcome their problem.
6. Elevator Pitch
• This app ,Wildlife Spotter, has been developed
to solve the problem of not knowing what
wildlife is dangerous and is not. This app is for
all ages over 5 who like exploring, but want to
keep themselves safe. They can also have fun
using a safe and educational scavenger hunt
utility, which we have implemented for
children.

8. Other Solutions
• Another solution would be to search lots of
book stores, or your local library, to find the
information about the wildlife and plants. As
well as this, you could also search the
internet, and different websites, to find the
information on the animals and plants.

Our business model All users pay Some users pay Somebody else pays
My team’s app, Wildlife Spotter, will operate a business model in which all users pay/
some users pay / somebody else pays.
My team has identified that when people who have their own country’s version of
our app, which will be free, go to a different country they are willing to pay towards
the app, because that is the only way to keep on having fun in safety, and still learn
about the wildlife.
