Physical education in schools provides instruction to develop motor skills and physical fitness through sports and activities. It teaches children how to establish an active lifestyle through daily physical activity. Any voluntary body movement that expends more energy than resting, such as walking, dancing, or climbing stairs, is considered physical activity. There are many benefits to physical education - it increases students' physical activity, improves their academic performance, and helps them stay focused in the classroom.
