ACTIVITIES
An accomplishment I am proud to share is myDuke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. For thiscertificate I
completed 3 monthsof voluntary work, where I worked as an assistant coach at a children's boxingclub.
This required me to have good communication skills and patience, whilst following instructions, which
is very useful experience to take into the workplace. I also spent 3 months learninga new skill (which
was cooking different meals). This allowed me to learn a new skill I wasn't confident with in a short
space of time, which is also useful experience to take into the workplace. Finally, for the outdoor
expedition I used good communication and understandingskillsto work effectively in a group to reach
our goal, which can be applied to working with colleagues and/or customers. I also had to make
decisions and listen to others' opinions to reach goals, for example a route to take on the expedition.
HOBBIES
In my free time I am captain of a local football team for under 19s, which I very much enjoy the physical
challengesand the unityof teamwork.
I also enjoy countryside hiking and like to spend time in the dales, pursuingthis with friendsand family.
