The Hero~Katniss Everdeen
Katniss is the protagonist of the film. She wants to succeed in the hunger
games. She is being targeted by the villain.
The Villain~President Snow
President snow disrupts the narrative and tries to stop katniss from achieving
her goal. He is seen as morally bad.
The false hero/villain~ Cena and Effie
The hunger games doesn’t have many false heros however, it does have many
false villains. People who live in the capital, Cena, who disagree with the game
are false villains. They live in the capital which portrays them as villains. Effie
Trinket is also another false villain as she is clearly from the capital, however
she supports katniss in the hunger game and in the finale film of the franchise,
she is on the side of rebellion against the president.
4. The Donor~Haymitch
Haymitch helps aid katniss in her quest of winning the
games by sending her resources while she is in the arena
The Helper~Peter
Peter joins katniss in her journey, acting as her sidekick,
helping her to win the games. He adds a romantic plot to the
film

and katniss is sent as the district 12 tribute after she

Gale plays the protective father figure looking after
primrose while katniss is in the games.

Primrose was rescued by her sister when she was chosen
to be the tribute for district 12. However, as the film
progress, katniss finds herself needing to be saved and
therefore could be the princess.

Sean is morally bad, disrupting the narrative, as he
abused bella.

Sean is abusive which is why bella is seeking revenge
The false hero~sean
As the storyline progresses, bella is seen as the
false villain and sean is seen as the false hero.
This is because bella is seeking revenge for all
for all of sean’s wrong doing and as a result, the
audience sees her doing the vicious acts.
