Project: Kvitebjørn Pre-compression and Capacity increase project

Position: Senior Safety engineer
- Conoco (April 2014-July 2016):
- Three main scopes:
1) New 4 floors gas lift module on EKOJ.
2) XOL scope from EKOM to EKOJ with various scope on
both platforms including new EV on bridged.
3) Produced water handling scope including two new
Hydrocyclones.
- FEED Study, Pre-eng. and detailed engineering (EPCIC). Follow up
various aspects within technical safety aspects like PFP, F&G, DAL,
QRA, SIL, escape routes, area classification etc. Special attention to
PFP, F&G and firewater aspects including pipenet calculations
verifying flow/pressure/capacity etc. New deluge skid to be provided
for new Gas lift module and various tie-ins to existing firewater
systems on EKOJ and EKOM to provide sufficient deluge coverage
of new equipment. Compensating measures during tie-in work etc.
Follow up 3.part regarding pressure surge issues.
- Statoil (April 2013-November 2014):
- New 3 floors compressor module on KVB. Was hired into the project
after Level 4 status. This to ensure and follow up that all various
technical safety aspects finally was fulfilled for the project. Follow up
PFP design philosophies and write PFP procedure for the project (For
all PFP aspects like pipes, valves, flanges, structure, coat back etc.)
Special attention to firewater aspects including pipenet calculations
and write commissioning procedures for firewater. Part of
commissioning team during full scale deluge tests (full scale single
and scenario tests). Follow up dynamic/water hammer issues and
implementation of delay function on manual release due to indicated
surge issues in calculations.
- Follow up DAL/QRA/F&G/SIL/SRS/FSA work in the project. Deputy
safety lead.

- Modifications on both SNA & SNB for different cases and options to
extend lifetime on SNA & SNB. Special attention to technical safety
aspect for the SNB modifications. Firewater responsible for both SNA
& SNB.
Project: Gudrun Tie-in to Sleipner project

- Follow up Technical safety issues with special focusing on
active/passive fire fighting (including running pipenet simulations for
single systems, WCS, etc.), AFFF/foam philosophy and PFP (Passive
Fire Protection) requirements/philosophy etc for the project.

- Technical safety responsible for class C study related to topside
modifications for new riser tie-ins from Draupne/Luno fields. Also

Technical safety aspects in general with special attention to active fire

Project: SNORRE IOR project

Position: Senior Safety engineer
- Technical safety lead in detailed engineering for SNB PWH project.
Responsible for FW modifications on SNB PWH project. FW
includes modifications downstream two deluge skids. Typical tasks
related to FW modifications were updating of hydraulic reports, FW
P&IDs, compensating FW reports during modification, input to
commissioning procedures, as-built etc.
- Responsible for Firewater modifications on SNA IOR from mars
2010. FW includes modifications downstream 14 deluge skids
(approximately a total of 150 new deluge nozzles). Typical tasks
related to FW modifications were updating of hydraulic reports, FW
P&IDs, compensating FW reports during modification, input to
commissioning procedures, as-built etc. Deputy Safety lead for SNA
IOR.
- Follow up SIL/SRS analyses from 3rd
part on SNA IOR
- Various study work on SNA & SNB (Concept to FEED studies).
Working tasks: Ensure that all relevant technical safety aspects are
considered and documented in accordance with various regulations
and standards.

- M&M project related to flowlines, gaslift lines and water injection
lines on the entire EKOFISK area.
- Working tasks: Ensure that safety issues have been taken care of.
- Prepare, plan and execute different safety reviews(HAZOP, design
review, constructability review).
- Prepared input to FEEL report.
- Disciplin lead: 11.06 – 01.07.
Oct.2006 –Jan.2007 - Study of changing out all the firewater systems on EKOJ downstream
of the deluge skids because of corrosion in existing galvanized carbon
steel pipe.
- Evaluating different choice of material and prioritized order for
change-out.
- Evaluation of requirements and alternatives for compensating
measures related to changing out the systems.
- Offshore survey to gain an overview of the 20 systems to be changed
out and reviewed deluge design and location of nozzles.
