Heikkilä Jyrki
Senior Design Engineer
Proposed position:
After completing my four years engineering studies in college, I have since worked over thirty years in
the shipbuilding, offshore, automotive, and chemical industries. My work has been mainly mechanical
and piping detail /design, although other aspects such as structural ventilation and process have been
covered. In addition in Finland I have worked many years in Norway and in Sweden. I speak Finnish,
Norwegian, Swedish, English, and some German. In my work I have used various Cad systems like:
PDMS,Auto CAD, Microstation, Vertex 3D and 2D, ME 10, ProEngineer, Solid Works, Pro arc Navis
Work. To my work has also included field engineer tasks on industry sites, and I have offshore
experience on platforms on North Sea.
