I worked as a lead safety and risk engineer on this project. NRA platform is more than 25 years old and recent
inspection shows the NRA platform jackets are badly corroded and it might lose the wall thickness also. This project
is to deploy the vertical access tool (VAT) and inspect the jackets and braces conditions. VAT is a latest technology
and used by the LBO. I am responsible for the HAZID workshop, design/constructability workshop and dropped
object study and close out all actions.

1. Foam Systems - This study assesses the use of GWA foam system for the hydrocarbon pool fires (top sides,
Modules B, C, and E & L) and sea fires.
2. Dry Deluge Draining - Review dry deluge system and develop recommendations to improve draining of the

Accountable for the design and upgrade of the fire water deluge spray system for the NRA platform. Carried out
gap analysis for the existing firewater system with the required latest industry practice and national and
international fire codes and standards. Interface with the NRA and NRB firewater systems, design and upgrade of
the NRA helideck deluge firewater/foam monitor system, pipedeck and drill deck foam/water monitor systems.
Design and upgrade the hot oil heater foam/water deluge spray system. Coordinate the surge analysis of the
deluge spray systems and response time of the helideck deluge firewater/foam monitor systems. Responsible for
the peer review of deluge spray system design and hydraulic calculations. Prepared and obtained approval of
design books, data sheets, hydraulic calculations and verification reports. Responsible for the purchasing of
foam/water monitors, foam tanks and foam/water spray nozzles for the helideck deluge firewater/foam system.
I have attended HAZOP workshop for the firewater P&IDs, replacement of condensate pumps etc. Participated in
HAZID workshop for the TPSD installation for the NRA and Angel platform, red hotwork in process modules during
normal operation of the NRA platform etc. Attended number of constructability review of firewater piping
installation, cable tray installation at bridge etc. Carried out risk assessment for the lifting items at the NRA
platform e.g. deluge skids module and Module 5 structures etc. Also, carried out risk assessment for the red hot
work in Module 5 and Module 3.Identified the gap in using the hide and habitat in utility module. Studied the NRA
platform existing fire and gas mapping system and updating the fire and gas mapping system. Responsible for the
NRA platform noise assessment study, NRA safety signs impact analysis.
Responsible for the replacement of secondary firewater ring main, carried out risk assessment for the most
credible surge scenarios, update the surge analysis report etc.
Carried out safety critical systems impact analysis due to decommissioning of the drilling modules (19 & 20) and
modules 15, 16, 17 & 18, prepared safety impact sheet.

 Review and approve the safety systems e.g deluge systems, hydrant systems, gases systems,
emergency evacuation systems, fire detection and alarm system etc;
 Review and approve the drawings;
 Review and approve the fire and safety contractors;

 Review and update the Fire Protection and Safety Specifications.
 Review and update the testing procedure and testing formats of fire protection systems.
 Review and update the safety procedures and guidelines.

 Organizing of sufficient manpower for review of design, site supervision, witnessing testing and
