& Pipeline (Approx. 450 Km),
South Oil Company (SOC), IRAQ.
PMC, Lead Mechanical Engineer - The role &
responsibilities include:
CH2M are the PMC consultants engaged by SOC for
the FEED design carried out by Parsons International.
The project includes Pumping, Treatment, Material
Handling and supply of 12.5 MMBWPD seawater to
various oil fields in Iraq. The project also includes a
standalone power generation facility using fuel gas
and diesel oil including the gas pipelines.
The specific tasks include providing input data,
technical scope of work (SOW) in compliance with
international safety standards, BOQ, MRs,
Modularization skids, reviewing & Approval of
deliverables with respect to mechanical engineering
related activities (Rotary, Static & Material Handling
Equipment).
As part of the PMC role, the responsibilities included
the full review of the FEED design including the Basis
of Design, Key Process Design Deliverables,
Equipment specifications and data sheets, layouts etc.
Played active role in project design reviews, project
meetings, hazard identification, maintainability,
hazard analysis, operability, 3D-model review.
Supervised & Monitored a team of Mechanical
Engineers & their goals.
