2. Sarojini Naidu
● Born: 13 february 1879 in Hyderabad.
● The “ Nightingale of India”
● The first Indian woman to become the Governor of an
Indian state.

3. Literary Career
● Sarojini Naidu began writin at the age of twelve.
● In 1905 her first collection of poems named “ The Golden
Threshold” was published.
● Her collection of the poems entitled “ The feather of the
Dawn”

British Goverment.
