5. Began in the 7th century by two non-African
slave traders Arab Muslims and Europeans.
Arab Muslims sent thousands of slaves each
year to North Africa and parts of Asia.
Europeans bought millions of slaves in west
and sent them to Europe. Caribbean, North,
central and south America.
Buying and selling of slaves were regular
activities in Africa.
7. Chattel slaves are
property.
They have no rights and
expected to perform
labor and sexual favors
at the command of slave
master.
Chattel slavery still exist
in Islamic North Africa.

It is impossible for

Africa has it’s own
unique version of debt
bondage: Pawnship.
