3. The flipped classroom is a pedagogical model
in which the typical lecture and homework
element of a course are reversed.
Short video lectures viewed by students at
home before the class session while in class
time is devoted to exercises, projects or
discussion.
The video lecture is the key element, such
lectures being either created by the instructor
and posted online.
4. In 1993 Alison King published
from “sage on the stage to
guide on the side” in the article
King focuses on the
importance of the use of class
time for the construction of
meaning rather than
information transmission. This
is the first concept of “flipping”
a classroom.
Harvard Pro. Eric Mazur played
a significant role in the
development of the concept.
Jon Bergmann is one of the
pioneers of the flipped
learning.
7. The Notion of a flipped
classroom draws on such
concepts as active learning,
student engagement,
hybrid course design and
course podcasting.
It is more collaborative and
co-operative contribution
to the teaching process.
The Flipped Model puts
more of the responsibility
for learning on the shoulder
of students. While giving
them new experiment.
8. Flipped Learning is not static
Flipped Learning is evolving
because of three factors
1. Research
2. Classroom
innovation
3. New Technology
Flipped Learning has Emerged
as a Global Movement
There is a new awareness
emerging about Flipped
Learning
There are Rapidly Expanding
sets of new possibilities
9.
10. More efficient for teachers
Students control their learning
Engaging way to share content
It encourages students to come to class prepared
More one-to-one time between teacher and
students
Practical things like missing class due to illness
becomes less problematic
Subject matter & content become more clear
It’s cost effective
More collaboration time for peer learning for
students
11. Flipped learning gives learner wide platform where they can
think by their own.
Give more time to students for better understanding and group
discussion.
Through such academic experiments we can learn something
new and also creativity with some more grasp of our knowledge
and information.
At some point helps to go much dipper and more then one time
one can get enough detail that we want particularly.
I think Flipped Learning is very effective tool to go beyond our
imaginations or knowledge that we have mostly.
It clears the concept and avoid misunderstanding. you can learn
by your own.
It has no time boundaries we can learn it anytime.
Thankful to sir and my classmates it is wonderful experience.
