Successfully lead nine stores opening 5 new locations in the state of Michigan. Oversee nine store managers, 9
assistant store managers, and around 100 hourly retail sales associates. Work closely with Regional Director and
regional team to drive alignment, establish district's foot print, and remove obstacles for my team to better serve our
customer and associates. Conduct store walks with all levels of leadership and assess growth, service and revenue
opportunities and create plans for necessary improvements. Review and analyze district shrink and retail associate sales
trends, and implement improvement initiatives. Train employees and managers in customer service, merchandising, and
operational standards of excellence. Drive positive public relations through community engagement and outreach.
Maximize revenue through driving key levers including activations, reducing deactivations, increasing customer retention
and YOY growth.
Accomplishments:
• Successfully moved and opened 5 new stores in 9 months. Quickly built relationships across all functional
departments including new store opening team.

Successfully lead nine stores with annual sales from $16M to $35M, with average total annual sales for district of $220M.
Oversee nine store managers, 27 assistant store managers, 135 department supervisors, and around 2000 hourly
associates. Work closely with RVP and regional team to drive alignment, establish district's direction, and resolve issues
as required. Conduct store walks with all levels of leadership and assess sales, service and profitability opportunities
and create plans for necessary improvements. Review and analyze district shrink and safety performance, identify
trends, and implement improvement initiatives. Train employees and managers in customer service, merchandising, and

Store Manager (08/2003 – 08/2009)
Managed busy store with responsibility for full functionality, including sales, employee supervision and training, budget
control, inventory management, shrinkage control, and customer service, while ensuring attainment of company
