• Meet annual employment and salary goals for graduates as designated by Brown Mackie College.
• Market the school’s Career Services program and its student for existing relationships as well as for the
development of new employer relationships.
• Obtain affiliation agreements to commit our relationship with the sites.
• Based on the competencies and direction of school and its students, am responsible for making strategic decisions
regarding the most desirable corporate relationships to cultivate for maximum graduate employment results.
• Implement strategies for solidifying and leveraging relationships both internal and external, to support our
students in grasping the core competencies of their program.
• Assist students in developing a strong portfolio that promotes their abilities in order to ensure desirable outcomes.
• Plan, supervise and assist in delivering career programs and workshops (self-assessment, resume writing,
interviewing, portfolio development, negotiation, and job search strategies) designed to prepare students for the
job market. This includes providing individual career guidance to students seeking jobs.
• Host Advisory Board Meetings to receive feedback on employer needs and identify opportunities
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, develop and manage service operations to ensure key constituents
(students, graduates, alumni and employers) receive quality service and support. Manage all on-site recruiting
activities.
• An Ambassador for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to volunteer for community events and corporate
relations
• Assist Academics with retention and student services

Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Computer Accounting Specialist, Pharmacy Technician, Paralegal , average
students 130 at one time.
• Evaluate each student's progress and attainment of training objectives using a standardized assessment tool
• Conduct required number of externship site visits, 3-5 per day
• Evaluate existing and potential extern facilities and their equipment in support of programmatic needs
• Work closely with all site supervisory personnel to present positive student experiences

• Develop sufficient externship sites to support the school's programs and the student population therein
