2. Based on the results obtained on
how satisfactory our music video
is, it implies that we were able to
successfully appeal and please our
target audience as the majority-
being 70%, were very satisfied
with the production and 20% were
somewhat satisfied. As one person
had responded with a neither
satisfied nor dissatisfied we
assume that there is clearly
aspects which could be improved
on within our main production,
possibly regarding the camera
quality in some shots or the story
line involved.
3. In contrast the creativity used to construct
our music video made it seem different to
general R'n'B videos and thus created a
sense of interest in the viewers eyes. This
is because half of the respondents thought
that our music video was unique
suggesting that it was interesting to see
something new and challenging, while still
being able to capture the target audiences'
attention. A further 30% saw that the
music video was made at high quality
therefore helps us know that we achieved
our aim of making the music video come
across professional and carefully
constructed in order to capture specific
themes. In question five we can also see
that our production of the music video was
good as 30% of the people had responded
with either above average or excellent in
regards of the production, however 40%
thought that it was average, suggesting it
could still be improved and adjusted due to
the fact that in some scenes the camera
quality differed significantly compared
to others throughout the music video,
suggesting that better footage could
have been obtained.

5. During research and planning, we found
that R'n'B music is based on themes of
emotion, sadness and heartbreak. In our
story line we wanted to convey these
themes through the idea of someone being
treated badly as we wanted to try and
follow the convention in order for our target
audience to recognise the genre and be able
to relate to the meaning behind the song. It
is evident that we successfully achieved this
as 30% of our respondents had said they
felt sad while watching the video as well as
20% feeling either angry or excited because
of the drama involved.
Question four further supports our idea for a
story line as 70% of our audience thought
that it was interesting and 20% thought it
was very interesting. This is positive
feedback as it suggests that we were able to
entice our audience by including a story line
into our music video as they would want to
know how it is resolved and how the
characters deal with the situations at hand.
It is evident through the multiple questions
that we were able to address the music
video to our target audience and appeal to
them in such a way they would enjoy and
like our main production.

7. The last questions asked to our audience
was to identify the target audience and the
genre of our music video. 100% of the
audience had said that the target was
based around teenagers and that 90%
believed that it was R'n'B, one had said
that it was Rap. From this we can infer
that we were successful at appealing to
our target audience as they could identity
who it was aimed towards due to the mise-
en-scene of our production. Young people
were used to play the characters and the
clothing worn were that found typically in
younger generations, representing the
video in a specific way and allowing the
viewers to relate to the characters hence
being able to understand who we are
targeting. However, even though most
people stated that it was R'n'B, one person
had said rap therefore in order to avoid
this we could have followed more
conventions in order to meet the
audiences' expectations of the genre.
