What is listing?
Listing a product is nothing but filling in all necessary information about a product so that a buyer can make an
informed purchasing decision.
Log in to your account. Go to ‘Listings’ tab. The drop down menu gives you the following:
1) Add listings in bulk – This is for adding products that don’t exist on the website yet by downloading and filling in an excel
sheet.
2) Add a listing – This is for adding a product that already exists on the website or for adding a new listing. Now, under
this tab you can also create a listing that doesn’t exist on the website!
3) My listings – This is where all listings go once all the necessary information is added. Stock attributes are added from this
tab.

In this tutorial, let us discuss more about ‘create a listing’:

Since you can enter all information directly on the portal, there is no time wasted on downloading and uploading an
excel file. Also, an interactive platform enables instant auto validation to check for errors as and when you make an
entry. This means you can rectify errors on the go – no more tedious process of verifying listings!

Once you choose a category to add a product, you will have to fill in the following sections on the seller portal:

Sections – Product Information
Let us take a pair of jeans for example and see what kind of information is needed under each section and how they
will appear on the website.
Section 1: Product information
Information like brand, size, style etc. needs to filled
here. This will help buyers:
1) Search for products easily
2) Uniquely identify your product

you will reflect here to help
buyers narrow down their
search.

Sections – Product Images
Section 2: Image upload
Product images with exact colours and different angles need to be
uploaded to help buyers see the product. Before uploading any
images, please ensure you follow the image guidelines given in this
section to avoid any QC failures later on.
Please note: Image guidelines vary for different categories.

give maximum exposure.

Sections – Mandatory Attributes
These are some of the mandatory
attributes for a pair of jeans that appear
here. These help buyers make a
purchasing decision.
Section 3: Mandatory attributes
These are important features like fit, rise, UPC code etc.
that MUST be mentioned. This will help buyers:
1) Easily discover your products
2) Make a better buying decision

Section 4: Good to have attributes
Additional OPTIONAL information can also be mentioned.
This will help:
1) Buyers make a well-informed buying decision
