Did you feel you need more control on which of your products can be part of a
Flipkart promotion?
Well - we have the answer.
Introducing a new feature that enables you to do just that! Now, you can exclude the
products you want and run Flipkart promotion only on select products.

4. Learn how to Choose Products to Promote (1 of 10)
Step 1:Click on Promotions
tab. Choose Flipkart
Promotions from the drop
down menu.

5. Learn how to Choose Products to Promote (2 of 10)
Step 2:Select the promotion you
want to participate in. Click on
view details. This will take you to
the promotion details page.

6. Important: Please ensure that the ‘See how discounts are calculated’ step is completed before excluding
products. It is mandatory to calculate and analyse discount for at least 1 product. It will help you taking the right
decision.

7. Step 3: Scroll
down to the ‘Select
Listings to Exclude’
section
Step 4: Click here
to download the
CSV file

8. Step 5: Starting from the
third row, add the listing
ids of the products that you
want to ‘EXCLUDE’ from
the promotion
Please note you can add up to 5000 listing ids for each opt in session

9. Step 7: Click on
‘Submit’

CSV file with the
listings here
A notification will appear when the
file has been successfully uploaded

10. Downloading error reports and re-uploading
In case any of the listings in
the file you upload are
invalid, you will see an error
report
You can either download the
error report and re-upload
or click on ‘Proceed anyway’
to exclude only the valid
listing ids

11. Important: The ‘Exclude products’ section is optional. You can directly proceed to ‘Opt-in’ if you do not want to
exclude any listings. In case you want to exclude products , please ensure that you click on ‘Opt in’ only after
you have finalised the Listing IDs. You can make changes to the list only once a day.

12. Step 9: Click on ‘I
agree’ to confirm your
opt in.

14. View excluded listings
and
replace excluded listings file

After opting into the promotion, you can
• View the listings that you have excluded from the promotion
• Remove the excluded listings and opt to include all your listings into the promotion
• Replace the excluded listings with different listings by re-uploading a new file

18. Replacing the listing file
You can use the Replace List option to replace your excluded listings with a new list.
‘Listings excluded’ file can
be replaced by clicking
here and following the
upload process as
explained earlier.
Once opted into the promotion, the file can be replaced only once in 24 hours

19. Points to Remember
● The ‘Exclude products’ section is optional
● You can directly proceed to ‘Opt-in’ if you do not want to exclude any listings
● Ensure that you provide the correct Listing IDs in the CSV file
● After opting in to a promotion, changes to the exclusion list can be made only once a day
