the room with a piano playing as he sings the song
Kid Cudi - The Void : this video is an animation with the singer's head
in many different colours with a man falling into the head as one side
of the head explodes with the new york skyline in the background

At the start the camara is going to face out on to a field with two
people standing out on the middle of it with a dog sat by their side.
The camara will then cut to a slow cinematic of the surrounding area.
There will be another cut and the camara will be in the corner of the
field facing right the camara will slowly pan left sa a car comes round
a corner the camara will the focus on the car and will follow the car
round the bend and finish with the car ether stopping or still driving.
Then there will be a cut to some people cycling down a road. There
will be a cut to a view from the window of a train and the cut to the
view out the window of a car. Towards the end of the song there will
be multiple cuts to different people's faces in different places the end
scene will be the view of the field at the start but there will be no one
in the field as it cuts to someone sat in a car as they start the car and
drive off and the camara will look up and go in to darkness.

15. LOCATIONS
The location of the first and last scenes will be a place called
horseshoe point which is near my grandparents' house so is only a
short drive away. My only hope for the weather is that it's not raining.
Some of the other scenes will be shot in moving trains and cars on
roads and motorways and trains tracs going through countryside.
There are cycling scenes and they will be shot down one of my
friends' roads.
16. EQUIPMENT
Tripod which I can get from home – the tripod will be used to film close
ups on people and long shots of people and cars
Camara witch I can also get from home – will be used to film
Bikes witch I can get from home – will be used for a scene were
people are cycling down a road
Morgan plus 4 witch I can get from my grandad – the car will be at the
start and end of the video and will appear in clips through out
Train witch I can get tickets for – some of the shots will be shot on a
moving train
Car to film from (I can just use my dad's car) - some of the shots will
be shot out the windo of a moving car and I need the car to travel

My video will be edited at college with premier pro
My video will be filmed outside
I will need access to open roads and esaly accessable countryside
18. PERSONNEL
CREW: I will be filming, and my dad will help me with setting up the
camara he is a photographer, so he knows how his camara works.
CAST: the cast will be my friends and family. Most of the shots that
will involve them are shots where they don’t move.

4-5 bikes the bikes will be used to film as some of the shots are
of people riding bikes
A train to film from the train will be travel and some of the shots
will be shot from the window of the train
A car to film from the car will be travel and some of the video
will be shot out the window of the car
A Morgen to film the car will be at the start and end of the video
No costume requied everyone wars their own clothes
21. Pre-visualization/CONCEPT
BOARDS
Look and feel of the video: I wanted the video to look peacefull an
d slowly get more chaotic I also wanted the video to not look like a
music video, but still fit in if music was overlapped on to it.
Colour: I didn’t specifically choose any colours for the video or any
specific lighting I just went with whatever happened for example I
didn’t care what colour the car was I just knew I wanted a car in the
video. And I wanted to shoot in day light.
Staging: I wanted the staging to look aesthetic as a photograph but
also a video. When I got the people to stand in the field it was
supposed to look nice as a still image as well as a video.

29. Location information
This was the only
real location that I
wanted to film at
because I liked the
amount of space it
gave me to film and
I like the turn. I
didn’t get any
permition to use this
location because it
is a small country
road and we only
came acros one car
and the wasn’t a
problem. There was
no plan B because I
knew that the road
would be clear for a
long period of time.
30. CONTINGENCY
PLANNING
My big problem with this is that I didn’t have a proper plan. Covid and
the lack of availability meant that I have got gaps in my video next
time I will be better prepared.
For example, as a contingency I would have shot all the footage with
people beforehand. Then if they were unavailable, I would have
footage.
