What did you think? How did you feel?
● Reminded me of when COVID happened
● Always tell men to hide emotions
● Easy to push things aside - hard to tell others, &
might be too late
● Interesting seeing other person come to the door -
what is it like to see those signs & be there for
someone?

● Worrying about what other people will think and
whether they will judge
15. What makes it difficult to reach out for help?
● Sometimes we think other people need to have the
same experiences, but sometimes it’s better if they
don’t - they can still support by being there and
listening.

What did you think? How did you feel?
● Shows how your sport can add additional pressure
to whatever is going on with you
● Emphasized men’s mental health - held to a very high
standard, a lot of pressure on them ; from women’s
team, we care about you
● Have experience with dad going through a similar
mental crisis - took a big toll. Felt like he couldn’t be
weak.

help support your wellness?
● Cry it out
● Use sport as a positive - find the joy in it
● Finding a different hobby outside of sport
● Taking the time to write down what you’re
truly grateful for

● If you are surrounded by the wrong crowd, it can take away
from who you are
● If you feed the negative, it’s only going to get bigger
● It depends on the person - easy or hard
● Cookie was scared of the first monster
